Meross products have been reliable for me.
I have a dozen of these outlets at work in my home and office. Meross products have always been reliable for me. They are easy to set up and work well with Apple HomeKit.Recommended

Power controller
I used this to shut off power to TV when I want grandkids to go to bed and so far they can't turn back on. ( They don't know how to by pass it ).There are lots of applications.

this is at least the 3rd set of meross smart plugs i've bought. they're great. I am so not a techie and i set them up myself. easy to use, reliable. I've even gifted them to others. really like them. very reasonable price

Works great just not with Bluetooth
Haven't seemed to find a way to get this sore cover Bluetooth when Wi-Fi is out or internet is not available. Otherwise when things are functioning these work great and have gone to the point of replacing all my smart home switches with these.

Easy set up once app is installed
The biggest problems (I've found) with smart switches is that multiple brands make set up a pain. You have to load an app for each and then port the skill over to Alexa so it can take over. Buying the same brand alleviates this problem. I already use Meross for their outdoor outlets and after fighting with another brand (that had good reviews) of mini smart plugs, I tossed them and bough these Meross ones. I already have the app installed and the skill on Alexa. I plugged the mini plug in, launched the Meross app and it immediately saw the plug and set it up in under 60 seconds. I renamed it and launched Alexa. It also immediately saw the plug and now I am all set, no more than 2 minutes later.

Very Low Quality & Essentially Useless
I installed these, they seemed to work fine. But then one by one each one would "not respond." The only option was to forget the accessory. When you forget the accessory in HomeKit and try to reset it, HomeKit says the accessory already belongs to another home and cannot be set up.THESE WILL WORK FOR A MONTH OR TWO THEN DISCONNECT. ONCE THAT HAPPENS, THEY BECOME USELESS PLASTIC WASTE. THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN DO WITH THEM

Absolutely Great!! I made auto light bulbs!
put them together with some other parts and to make auto light bulb fixtures for my homes. Bluetooth and Wifi connected immediately. Work well with alexa, definitely buying more. They connected right back up also. Glowing review for these, sometimes devices are a PITA, these are not. 10 Stars. I will add photos in a bit to show.
