Wonderful, feature packed little torch
I picked this torch up for less than £9 (incl P&P) from SDJ Sports. Great value and great service from them.Nebo Torches are fantastic Having already owned a Blast and a Big Larry 2, I thought I’d try one of these as a gift for a friend. It’s significantly smaller and lighter than the big Larry 2 but the main light, in my opinion, looks just as bright. Like it’s larger brother, it also has a choice of brightness and a red flashing mode.It magnetic base means you could attach it onto a car if you need to change a wheel at night. It has a clip (like a pen) so you could easily hang it from inside a tent or attach it to backpack in red flashing mode if it gets dark and you’re still hiking,Even though it’s a lot smaller and lighter, it still has a lovely solid feel due to being made from aluminium. It does not have the torch on the end like the big Larry 2 but instead this is where the operation button is. I actually prefer this as it’s less likely to be accidentally turned on if it presses against something when in a bag. I also tend to never use the end torch on the Big Larry 2 anyway as I always go straight to “wand” mode. One of the best ways you could ever spend 9 pounds!

Second one I've bought - these are terrific
Bought one a while back on impulse in a shop (my wife says I have a thing about torches :-)) I usually keep it in the glovebox or on my motorbike. Very handy to be able to use the magnet to stick somewhere while trying to fix or adjust something.Great short range spread of light which is plenty adequate for this sort of use. It also goes in my backpack when hiking as a spare (head torch is main torch) and to use the flashing red light if we get caught in the dark walking a section of road. The pen clip makes it easy to clip on a backpack.Bought this second one for this same purpose so we each have one. I nearly bought the Big Larry 2 this time since the proper beam torch was temping, but the Lil Larry is just a great compact size making it that bit more useful for stashing in a pack. Might have to get Big Larrys for the cars as they seem ideal for that. The other thing making me gush about these is just the obvious quality. They're beautifully made and just look and feel right.I'm sure there are always bigger and brighter lamps etc, but for use as I've described, these take some beating.

Lifesaver on a tac-vest
This is a brilliant torch, which fits perfectly into the MOLLE webbing on a tac-vest to allow for hands-free use, either lighting the area in front of you allowing to see obstacles or people when on foot, or tosee immediately in front of you while also needing to use your hands, or have them readily available - or if writing anything down in the dark to see what you are doing. In MOLLE webbing, the bottom portion which holds the battery fits snugly into the webbing to prevent it coming lose, and the clip at the top holds onto the webbing to keep this forward facing, and preventing any of the torch portion from being obstructed.Full brightness is great for when moving around and needing light to see where you are going, and lower brightness is ideal for doing anything close range while keeping your hands free, or in a smaller space where full brightness isn't required. There is also a red flashing "warning" light. I have not yet needed to use this, but it's reassuring to have available if I am ever needing to work in a road which is still live, to allow me to be easier identified by oncoming vehicles. It's hard for me to comment on battery life, as mine have not yet run out or started fading after 5 months, so I can't predict how long it will last, but moving into the darker part of the year I am expecting to be getting considerably more use out of this product.

Pocket sized and powerful
Great little light that is just a little bit larger than a pen, and gives a really bright illumination over a fairly broad area. In fact when I first used it I was amazed by the brightness. (So much so I bought a Big Larry 2 as well!)The product has a handy pen-clip so you can clip it to your top and have the light facing out (e.g. when walking in an unlit area). The based is also magnetic and a fairly good one at that.It has a dimmed mode that still provides reasonable lighting and will improve battery life (so good for walking the dog at night). It also has a red flashing 'hazard' mode. It is a shame that it doesn't have the solid red mode like its bigger brother, as I doubt I'll ever use the flashing red but would've like to have a solid red in some cases.

Great little torch
Great torch, bright, easy to use if quite heavy. 3 functions- bright constant torch, dimmer constant white light and flashing red light. Great for in the car and round the home, bit heavy to carry in a bag all the time, but feels very sturdy. I also bought the big Larry 2 torch, which is larger, heavier with a few more functions, and is another great torch. I Love a Nebo, and I’m converted from mag lite.

Serious product
This is a quality product but it’s not for the fainthearted. It’s very heavy and not suitable for the pocket or handbag. It’s simple to operate and gives a very good floodlight and a very good flashing red light for emergencies. The emergency light was my main reason for buying this product. It has a pen clip but it’s so strong that I wouldn’t advise you to put it on a blouse or a shirt. It is only suitable for heavy overalls. It also has a magnetic base but it’s so narrow that the unit would not stand up for long. It would be more logical to put the magnet where the pen clip is.

A great torch at a great price!
I love this little torch. I needed a new torch for work as my old one finally gave up on me. I often work at night and down manholes, so small form factor and brightness are the main selling points for me. At 250 lumens this is perfect for my needs, it's bright enough and the battery life is 10 hours on max brightness which in my opinion is great. I could see the flashing red mode being useful if your car broke down or being useful as a rear light for cycling. I can't fault this little torch and may even pick up another as a spare!
