Not only do they function well, but also gives your vehicle a tougher look. They are extremely easy to install. I used the same hardware of the factory good latches. Having a looking latch gives you piece of mind that no one can easily get in to mess with your vehicle. I highly recommend this mod.

They strong

These are a nice looking set of locking Hood latches build quality seems solid. The first set that I received did have a crack. Installation is easy 3 nuts, I would suggest using the factory nuts as they are higher quality and larger built in washers then the nuts that come in the package. The nuts that come in the packaging are the same as the factory hardware so same thread pattern and size. The relatively lightweight without feeling cheap. I think paid a little high for these as I've noticed other sellers are selling them for about $10 less. They're decent value for your money. The locking functionality I would say is slightly better than the other factory looking hood latches that lock with a keys. However these and the other ones can be easily defeated. They're a slight deterrent from somebody just walking by and opening your hood. Anybody that wants to spend any effort on getting into your hood is going to do it pretty easily. I was able to open these with a pair of needle nose pliers without damaging anything. I've read the reviews on the other factory looking Hood latches with the key and reviewers say they can pretty much be open with almost any key or a flat head screwdriver, so again it's just an added deterrent and makes it a little bit more difficult to get under your hood. I think you'd have to probably spend a significantly more amount of money to get anything that has a solid locking mechanism that would be difficult to defeat.

Worked as expected

Wanted these to make my hood a little more secure. They look like the factory latches, and I was impressed at first sight. Easy install. They worked for two weeks... During a trip on the interstate, one of the latches broke off of the fender. The mounting bolt had pulled out of the plastic latch frame and there was no way to reattach. Luckily, I had a bungee cord to hold that side of the hood down until I could get home and reinstall the factory latches. Stay away from these! They're not secure and a waste of money!

No body's getting under my hood now!

I just installed these today and so far I really like them. They seem to be good quality and look very similar to the factory latches which is what I was looking for. It comes with 4 keys and all the keys works smoothly. The latch springs are a bit stiff but I expect that to "break in" after some use. Install took about 15 mins and was very easy with a ratchet and socket for the hood clip parts and a box wrench for the latch part. Latches close tightly and the locks work as they should. Pic attached to compare what the mounted latch looks like and the factory latch is there for comparison. If anything goes bad I'll update my review... but so far so good.

Good product, does the job

Great product have had no issues and I use the factory nuts didn't have to use the extra bolts that they supplied as well

It's a good feeling knowing not everyone can just open my hood whenever they want. Install was quite easy, even though they forgot to put any sort of instructions in the box. Give yourself 10-12 minutes for this install.
