It never hurts to have an extra flash bulb on hand. Things always happen at the worst time.
I got this extra strobe bulb because for me it seems like things seem to to wrong at the worst possible times so I always try to plan ahead. My light is a 400w and this is a 300w bulb. And I don't think that would be a problem. But in a pinch anything is better than nothing.I know that this isn't much of a review but I think having backups to on hand nything is wise and worth doing.I hope that this review is helpful in some way.

Perfect replacement
It's not all that often that a flash tube goes bad and has to be replaced, but when it happens an OEM tube seems to me to be the overwhelming choice - perhaps the only choice. This is affordably priced, and gives a nice little bit of insurance against the inevitable studio "oops".
