Excellent quality & approved by a very critical gardener!
This was a present for my Dad, who is an avid gardener...and also very forthright with his feedback. I am pleased to say he loves it! As his strength has diminished with age, this smaller border spade enables him to continue with his own digging.

Great size for border spade. Very easy to manage for me 5' 2" 77 year old woman.
Excellent quality. Very 'fit' for purpose border spade. Is 'twin' to my border fork. Love the weight and size. So easy to use by 77 year old woman.

Proof of the Pudding!
Never Bends metal shaft is only 1" longer metal shaft than its standard border spade ! Wait to see if it lasts 10 years before reviewing. S&P good at replacements! Hence I would recommend them for that reason.

Spade is well made and reasonably strong. Mind you it is still possible to bend the blade when lifting out bricks. I expect it will see me out despite my abuse.

Der Spaten wurde in angemessener Zeit geliefert, Verpackung war nicht optimal, aber der Spaten war nicht beschädigt. Das Gerät macht einen soliden Eindruck, ist gut zu handhaben und absolut pflegeleicht, eben Edelstahl. Die Verwendung zum Pflanzen und Umgraben in Sandboden ist optimal, allerdings nicht für große Personen geeignet. Alles in Allem ein gutes Gerät
