EDIT: I was so bummed that I had a semi-functioning steam unit that I couldn’t turn on or use reliably. I reached out to the seller, I asked Amazon to put me in contact, and they actually sent me a new control unit for free! I was 100% prepared to pay for the controller but was very pleased with their customer service. I see they sell a lot of other steam items, and am now looking at their steam cleaners as they stand by their product and won’t be a fly by night company that closes up shop when something goes wrong. Some peace of mind for anyone on the fence about the company and product. Worked great for about a year and a half, and now the controller is not working. You turn it on and it’ll suddenly shut off, and it’ll turn on randomly even when no one is near it. We’ve had to shut the unit off at the breaker. We think everything else is working except the touch controller, but who knows?! Until this point, we loved it as it would get very hot and produce tons of steam. But not really worth it for 1.5 years of steam and the cost of installation!

At first I was excited when I bout this unit for my new bathroom. I got maybe 3 good uses out of it before the problems began. It never shuts off/ drains properly. Sounds like the darn thing is struggling to release water and can never get there. On top of that is not producing any steam. I’m very upset.

Update: After posting my review the Manufacturer responded to my questions and relayed they would update their installation manual. Noted items: Controller can be installed on the interior or exterior as the temperature sensor is a stand-alone component that is installed in the interior wall. Sensor installation height: One area denotes 1.5 meters and one area 4-5 inches. A big difference. They are the same but with a typo. 1.5m = 4-5 feet (not inches). Original: No way to get in touch with this overseas manufacturer to clarify their installation instructions that are imprecise or request clarification on installation plans. Last thing you want when installing a pricey steam shower. Maybe should have gone with a manufacturer with better customer support.

I used this to replace an Aqua steam shower generator that failed after 20+ years. The install was easy and communication with Hapyvergo was excellent. Unit worked fine for 2 years.(probably used only 20-30 times) 3 weeks ago it failed to turn on. I contacted Hapyvergo and they helped my troubleshoot and verify the problem as the controller and immediately ent me a new one. Easy installed and the unit was up and running again. I am extremely impressed with their response( keep in mind a big difference in time zone response via email). Would highly recommend this company

Only has connections on one side. Product should have connections on both sides and caps for the side not used.

First off, this review is long overdue. I bought the product prior to the start of the bathroom reno. In the process, we had issues with the unit as it did not produce any steam at all. Support was ON TOP OF IT! They promptly replied back my emails, I provided photo of the installation and in the end they sent me a new unit to replace the one my contractor installed for me. After swapping it out, the unit passed all the tests. My family and I have been enjoying the steam shower for a month now since our reno completed and I must say that the unit produced nice even steam and it shuts off when the desired temp is reached. I really can't fault the unit and it works as described. But amazing amazing customer support! They even followed up with me after I received the unit (but my reno wasn't completed yet).

Install went great, but it doesn't work, the auto drain never shuts off? If it never closes, how is it supposed to work? There's no pressure relief valve on the 3 k ...does it have any pressure with the auto drain never closing? Says in manual that discharge water could exceed 161 degrees, how? The unit sys it only goes up to 131 degrees? Myn doesn't work....

I had this out in a new bath refurb. I was concerned that this is a Chinese company I'd never heard of (contractor chose unit, said had used several times in past). I've had it in about 6 months and it works great. One note...directions tell you water pressure can't be more than 25 pounds so in most cases you'd need a pressure reducer. Installer said no. I emailed this company and got a quick response that my 45osi pressure is fine and I do not need a reducer. Not sure why their instructions say contrary. So far, so good with this unit. Surprising quick help via email. The aromatherapy thing is a detent on the steam outlet where you can out oil which burns off pretty fast. Works, however, but you won't get much aroma for most of the steam bath. I have been doing this steam thing right before bed. Honestly, it makes me feel like my old muscles and joints are rubber. I am asleep before the unit auto drains .
