Looks great and works like a charm and am so Glad I went with this versus a noodle board. Provides protection when stove is not in use and adds additional kitchen counter work space. Protects surface from scratches and simple and easy to move. Cleans up nicely for drips and spills from microwave too.

Exactly what I'd been searching for, for my smooth cook top. Able to put on a hot burner right after turning it off. No more worry of cats accidently getting burned. Perfect size. Only thing I'd change is the top of the material to be smooth rather than grainy so it's easier to clean off lint & crumbs but it's a great protector for the cook top & kids/ pets. I love it!!!

Bought this for a stove cover for my Samsung stove. It looks good, is durable, stays in place and provides great protection for my stove top.

The cover is all it says it is. I like the look of it and quality. The purpose for buying this was to keep cats from having the ability to turn on the stove by walking over it. The mat however, doesn't change that. Pressing any of the buttons through the cover still triggers the stove to turn respond/ turn on.

We bought this because I have a cat that has no sense whatsoever. If I am in the kitchen so is she, and my cat know no boundaries. Even though the cover doesn't eliminate the heat from the stovetop, it makes it so that my cat has time to realize it's warm, instead of finding out it's HOT!.You do need to allow a few seconds after shutting off the burner before placing the cover down, but after that it's a whole lot safer.Plus it looks good, keeps the stovetop clean, and in our case allows a bit more counter space as our apartment kitchen isn't exactly spacious.All in all a very good investment.

This is a nice protective mat for our 36” GE Cafe cooktop. Finding one that fit the larger sized cooktop was not easy, so we appreciated this product for its size and fit. The material seems quite substantial and provides peace of mind when the stove is not in use. Per the instructions, we usually let the cooktop cool before wiping down and then putting the mat on top to protect the glass until we cook again. Since our cooktop sits on a large island in the kitchen, we have room to put the pad aside during cooking events.

I ordered this after a freak accident where the glass on my last stove top broke. The replacement would have been almost as much as a new stove and was backordered for several months, so we ended up replacing the whole stove. I've been overly protective with the glass cooktop and this cover gives me peace of mind. It's thick and smooth, protects the cooktop from scratches and keeps it clean, and makes a nice work surface for food prep that doesn't require the use of the cooktop. I don't have much counter space so being able to use the cooktop surface for this is very helpful. I love that this cover can be put on a warm cooktop (I let the burners cool for about 10 minutes first) and that I can pull things out of the oven and set them directly on this (typically limit that to 350⁰ and below.) If I'm only using one burner I can easily roll up one side and leave the other side of the cooktop covered, which works out great if I'm also pulling something out of the oven. I wipe it down with a wet paper towel or run it under the faucet if I spill batter drips on it, and it cleans up very easily. It has developed a couple of little snags in the surface, probably from the corner of a box or something being dragged across it. They're not noticable unless you're up close and don't affect the use. The cover blends right in with my stove so you don't even notice it's there. I will say that my somewhat minimalist husband hates it but I do 90% of the cooking so he has to deal.

I really like the product to protect the glass top stove which I am new to. However I have seven cats, two are jumpers. The material gets very hot and it would not protect my cats paws. Other than that it looks great and it protects the stove when I'm not using it. I was terrified at first to put it on the stove for fear of it burning or sticking to the stove and it did not. When I first got the stove I already made a mistake and wiped it before it was already cool with a stupid microfiber cloth and I still have not gotten those stains off the back burner so of course I was completely paranoid. I will wait three or four or five minutes before I put it on and I'm just not going to leave the kitchen. I don't want my cat to get hurt that terrifies me. It looks so nice though !

Product functioned as advertised! It is FIREPROOF! When the element was accidentally turned on it did not catch fire, it smouldered, as did the bean bag that was on the mat, setting off the smoke detector. The mat is severely scorched and I have ordered a new one to replace it. To answer to other reviewers - Yes it does transfer heat if the element is on or still hot and would not prevent a burn. But the burn will not be to the degree that it would be if you touched the element! Some reviewers state they bought it to protect pets and children. We have those also. One way or another, it is up YOU to educate your child that a stove can be very hot! It is not up to a company to bubble wrap the stove and/or your child because you're neglectful! As for pets, we have two cats. They are trained to stay off counters including the stove for sanitary and safety reasons. You don't want them jumping on the counter when you're using your cutting board! A good tool to assist with this training is a scat mat(s).
