Still need a bit of practice
A great brush and at a great price, the bristles are soft and not too scratchy, I've lost about 10 bristles within the 5 days I've had it but I hear this is common with new brushes, the weak ones fall out quickly then you've something that you could probably give to your kids one day. Going to their site and looking at how meticulous their manufacturing process is may give you insight as to how good these brushes are.Personally I still need a bit of practice getting the lather from the soap onto my face evenly (though seeing someone on YouTube do it perfectly with the same brush I know the brush is not at fault) The guy aforementioned seems to know his stuff so I've dropped him a line asking him "What am I doing wrong"Live and learn and I'm learning fast with this beauty.PS the drip catcher can either sit down on a surface or be stuck to a smooth surface (has a sticker on the back) so it's perfect for your bathroom tiles.

An OK product.
Ive purchased this as an entry level brush, so I dont know any better. More experienced folk will probably say its garbage, but after having used it for a while I am happy with it. You might be able to get a silvertip off the fleabay for a slightly higher price (and I probably will do it at some point too). Thats something to think about, but right now:A. This is a decent looking, fair sized brush. In fact, I love the size and its modest looks.B. Holds water (no pun intended) fairly well, BUT make sure you soak it for a few minutes before use. It then produces a good rich lather.C. It has lost a few hairs since I bought it several months ago... Very few though, just enough so that I can HHT my razors - no complaints whatsoever and kinda handy!I like it and would recommend it to a wet-shave beginner.EDIT: One year in and I'm still using it. At every shave it looses a few hairs, sometimes none. Still very happy with it and still have not purchased another one.

Enhanced Shaving Time
I’m someone who enjoys taking his time over the daily shave, and treating it as valuable personal time. Having decided to go back in time to the ‘shaving bowl and razor’ era, I bought this brush and stand. I found it to be high quality, soft and comfortable in use. A good piece of equipment to add a touch of luxury and relaxation to the daily routine.

badger brushes the best still not convinced
wanted to try a badger brush again, i had owned a silver tip badger before but found it had no back bone and gave it away, i was told that the best badger had a better back bone than the silver tip and it has, it gave me a good lather with the wool fat soap but found it a bit prickly on the face this might be because it needs to be run in or i just need to man up. Would i buy another badger brush, no, this one will do just fine, would i buy another bore brush yes.My bore brush is 4 years old (omega 49) is very soft on the face, much stiffer than the badger and gives me enought lather for 3 + passes on a DE raxor without the jiggy face effect, and also the price of bore is much cheeper.IMO the bore is much better but if you are a badger man this is a great brush has a better back bone than my list badger with a price tag that wont break the bank, but for me this brush confirmed bore is better.

High quality
This is a lovely product to use. I have used mine for over a year, looking at it you would think it was new. If anything the brush seems to have got thicker over time. It lathers up beautifully and feels great on my face. It will probably outlast me. How many luxury items cost so little and give such good service for years and years? All in all a total bargain, highly recommended.

Adequate for just a few months
This was a treat to myself as I had never had such an expensive shaving brush before. I read the reviews and saw that quite a few people reported that these brushes shed bristles and I thought that it must have been because the brushes weren't being properly cared for. So I bought one and took care of it, following all the instructions about rinsing and drying and everything else and it was fine - but only for a few months. Then it started shedding hairs almost as fast as our golden retriever. I put up with it for a few months and then binned it (the brush, not the dog which I dearly love) and have reverted to one of my old, cheap brushes which hardly ever sheds a hair.

Great little brush
Does the job it needs to really well. For me, it rarely sheds, has a few come out after a couple of shave. But since it's settling stage it been not a problem. The bristles are soft, produces great foaming and provides ample coverage. Classic colour as well.I am ambivolent about the stand, its just some plastic, but holds this product well, and has some sticky on the back which you can place on to a surface. It also matches the colour fairly well. Wouldn't pay a significant amount extra for it but if it comes free then why not?
