Electronics revival
I liked Tracy Thornes voice. I was less keen on the downbeat feeling of the Album. But it is certainly sophisticated in I’d approach and realistic about life in your 60’s!

Exciting new album
Amazing, long awaited, new album from one of my favourite bands that I've followed from the 80's.This album does not disappoint. Instantly recognisable as EBTG but with a modern twist. A very emotive album. (And the dance music videos you can find take the music to another level)

Return to form
No mistaking EBTG. Typically rhythmic and melancholic.

It was quite a wait, but another great EBTG album
I have the complete collection of EBTG, so there was no chance of me not buying this one. I started with the Cherry Red sampler album Pillows and Prayers in 1982 and the rest is history – 40 years of excellence interspersed with brilliance. Like all the artists I have complete collections of (e.g. The Beatles, The Smiths, The Sundays) EBTG don’t know how to make a bad song. The same is true of Fuse, a collection of 10 largely electronic tracks to fit neatly alongside their last 2 albums, Walking Wounded and Temperamental, both released in the last century.First impressions are that this is an excellent addition to the canon. It’s two in the morning music oozing class and easily justifies their decision to reunite musically. Obviously it sounds better on CD than on Spotify, so if you still have that technology that is the way I’d recommend you acquire it. (P.S. If you are reading this and you actually are The Sundays, I would really appreciate a similar venture from you!)

Refreshingly brilliant
This release appears to have split opinion. I’ve never bought an EBTG album before or even listening much to them- they have always been on the periphery of my musical taste. So I come to it with no back story or expectation. But having heard ‘Run a Red light’, which is terrific I investigated further and it’s a great album. Every track is different in terms of musical arrangements, which are inventive and in total sympathy with the essence of each song, sung brilliantly by Tracey Thorn’s wonderful expressive and smokey voice. There isn’t a weak track but standouts at the moment are ‘Run a Red Light’, ‘Caution to the Wind’, ‘No one knows we’re dancing’, and ‘Karaoke ‘.

The return of old friends.
Its been almost 25 years since everything but the girls last album, and it has felt like a Lifetime ago. But now here we are with a new album and it feels like they have never been away, the music sounds fresh and current with the brilliant programming of ben watt and the unmistakable voice of tracey thorn. It may be 25 years but they have lost non of the style, this record is a great return to the fold, and if you dont believe me just give it a listen.

Missing
Missing that certain something that previous temperamental and walking wounded had. When the first single was released I was expecting something incredible I mean they’ve had enough time to work on it but the whole album is an anticlimax. Too many slowies which I consider buffer to the main 2 singles. Perhaps a remix album might save it but for now I’m not listening as much as I anticipated I might.

Great Return from EBTG
A very welcome return from this superb duo. Love the sound of this new album. Highlights for me are ‘Run A Red Light’. ‘No one Knows We’re Dancing’ & ‘Nothing Left to Lose. Nice glossy sleeve although a little slim cover. …. it’s the music that counts. A treat to your ears.
