It actually works so well better than a sponge. It massages your scalp when running in gentle circles. I am so impressed with "BowWow's" products, that I am so proud of his achievements. No hard damage on your hair. I got the dense one because I had to cut all of my side and back locs. It works wonderful on really sort hair so my style is rocking. I'll have to update when I post my finished look. Make sure you have your hair products to add like the styling curl gels according to your hair, (add some leave in conditioner first), shine oil and I love it. Keep your regimen up! I've been using a sponge brush for years and this one is much nicer. It’s heavy in my hand but it does not pull out my hair and it gives me nice soft curls that look really natural.

Works well on my son's hair

Brought this for my son, who has thick 4b hair. He complained about the sponges collecting lint and it getting into his hair. So i brought this to try it out, and he loves it. It also gives him deeper more define curls/twist.

This is my second time using this product. I do own the Premium Twist king which is for larger twist. I have purchased the dense twist king for smaller twist. This product dose work when using certain gels. I recently changed my hair style and find that this product works best when putting leave in conditioner in after a shower on top of Castrol oil. I do highly recommend this product over the foam twist brushes.

Once again, not a bad product, jus not what I expected. The "Twist King" is rather large and chunky. There's no sliding this in a back pocket or even a small bag for that matter, lol. While the rubber knobs are probably adding some curls to my hair they are not doing it comfortably. Using this thing feels like I'm rubbing the bottom of my sneaker against my head. It's pretty stiff and the surface are covered is less than yours think because of this. I wish it were curved like one of my Torino brushes.I'm not completely satisfied, but I'll give it some time to wear-in. The size of this thing and the stiffness aren't expected to really change, lol. I will say there a plus to it all being rubber. It's gonna be much easier to keep clean from any hair dressing products used.
