Sharper Image Lost Item Locator by Sharper Image (3-Pack)

I really wanted this to work. As I read the directions to load the app, I saw some reviews online as I was making sure I was following them correctly. The reviews said the app didn’t work, or that the sensors went off all day. Here is my experience, once the app was loaded from App store, I was able to send the command to one sensor. It went off and beeped. I was able to go shut it off, as long as bluetooth is on the app found it. However; the sensor continued to go off the entire day randomly, it was on my key ring. It went off with the keys stationary, and while in my pocket. I hit the tiny button on sensor each time to shut it off. By the next morning the sensor was dead, no more noise. The sensor also is able to be “found’ using the app, so I would be able to see for example my keys were in my house on the app, but as the sound is now gone, I’d still have to search for them. So I am returning these to The Sharper Image as I feel the sensors are defective and battery life for the audio was limited to one day.

Just got this for Christmas and was so excited! But was let down immediately. The first disk worked for about ten minutes while I tested it in different circumstances, then I shut it off and it would not turn back on or connect. The other two still work but there is no point in ever using them, because the sound was so weak I could barely hear it, and once I put it in my wallet it was nearly impossible to hear. The gps did not work at all either. It never even showed up on the map. When it did work, It only would connect if it was in the range about 50ft. If you go out of range it dissconnects automatically and can only be turned back on manually, which is pointless if you can’t find the item you are looking for. This item is usless defiantly don’t buy.

I am able to set his up but it alarms all of the time unless you turn it all off which is counterproductive is it is off.

I haven’t really had a chance to use it yet. I did have a little trouble finding the app for it.Also the hole in which to hang it from the key chain is very small which makes it hard to attach.

The very idea of these items was awesome My grown son loses his keys misplaces his wallet and forgets whet he left his phone lastIf these finders work they will be an amazing help to his family who has to go on a man hunt to find which item he can’t find We gave them to him for Christmas So ask me again in a month

I got these for my daughter who loses everything! I’m trying to help but there is only so much you can do I’m hoping these will help!

putting one on the phone works because the speaker on the phone is loud enough. to put it on keys just doesn't work because your depending on hearing the Disk which is way way way too low to help locate keys

The instructions were almost non existent; it kept going off at various times on its own and is a big disappointment. I should have read the reviews first. Lesson learned.

It is a Christmas gift and I think I am going to enjoy it. Just wish it had come with some instructions rather than having to go online!

I have been unable to get the free apple app. It just says the app is not available in this region or country. I have tried to retrieve the app on three phones.

Difficult setting up. Did not work, ended up returning and getting "tile" device which is simple set up and works great!

It works great for my son who seems to lose his keys and phone regularly.

Nice looking product but the software crashed on S10 Android. Uninstalled and returned product.

The software didnt work at all "no internet connection" over and over very disdapointed
