I totally dislike the top plate to which I connect my camera
This tripod is way overpriced for its quality. I totally dislike the top plate to which I connect my camera. The information I read on the Amazon was not accurate so most disappointed.

The useability of the tripod
I used this tripod originally for my Canon 80D camera, I have now changed to a lightweight Olympus camera, but will still use the same tripod. The tripod itself if very good, but the zip on the carry case has broken, not the zip itself which is very sturdy, but the plastic piece that pulls the zip up. I thought about returning it to Amazon to get another case, but the product is out of stock, and it does not say when or if it will be available again. I will have to find a way of still using the case but keeping it closed when in use. The same sort of carbon fibre product by Triopo is still on the website but at a much higher price than I paid last year. I would recommend the product to anyone thinking of buying it as the tripod is excellent just hope for a better case.

A wonderfully well made and well thought out tripod, a very stable platform for any decent DSLR.
My last tripod was bought probably 25 years ago and lasted well until the fine height adjustment handle snapped off. I've lived with it for a few years but could no longer cope with its limitations.I have to admit to taking a gamble with this one, I'm a little sceptical when a product has only five star reviews. In this case I need not have worried, to use a superlative (appropriately I think), this is a stunning piece of engineering, and well up with what I'd expect to see from the major brands, such as Induro (coincidentally, the manufacturer of my last tripod). So to the product itself. I've included a range of photographs (taken on a mobile!) and have labelled each to help to detail the various elements.1. The box! OK, so it doesn't have gilt lettering, but who cares?2. It's in a neat bag with carry handle.3. The head. I've never unpacked a tripod and found the head protected by it's own cover before. But it's there to stop the head getting damaged by the folded up legs, and the carbon legs getting scratched by the head.4. One of the legs unscrews to form the leg of the monopod.5. The head includes three varying size thumb screws and a dual spirit level. The screws control the head ball, the camera mount and the head rotation.6. The monopod with head attached.7. The tripod legs have three angle settings, the photo shows the widest, most stable setting with all the legs at minimum length.8. A close up of the carbon fibre legs. I only included this because it looks fab!It all works as you'd expect from a high end product. Rotation is smooth, with a capital Smoo(!), the same is true of the ball head and height adjustment. With four segments in each leg the height range is amazing, it's close to 170cm from the floor to the camera mount, at highest extension. I can't imagine there are many photographers that would need one quite this high, but it does offer the option of having a high mount position when taking photographs on a slope for example, where the camera will be on ground lower than the photographer. In terms of build, the head is a good weight, as needed for camera stability, and the carbon fibre legs are as stiff as expected. I found it wonderfully stable, far superior to my old model, and the ability to varying the angle of the legs really helps in this regard.Negatives? Well the carry bag is perhaps not the best to look at, but that's being very picky, and doesn't detract from a superb tripod.I think that's enough superlatives for one review...

Terrible build quality
Terrible build quality, one leg would not lock; head difficult to lock into position; instructions might as well be in double Dutch. not at all user friendly.

It's a bit flimsy.
Reduce to 3 stars from 4. Head adjuster broke after a week.

Over all not bad.
Not bad but has come with different Ball head and it's on so tight it won't come off. If it wasn't for these problems would have given it an higher score.

Very strong and very stable tripod with a good height
The media could not be loaded. I wanted a strong and high tripod before starting my new course in photography and I decided to get this 66.3 inches carbon fibre tripod.I received the tripod very quickly and very well packaged and protected. It is a bit heavier than another tripod I have but this one looks much more professional and strong. The tripod comes inside a strong box, when you open it you find the tripod inside the tripod’s bag, which is also made of a very strong material. The bag has a a strap to carry it, although I prefer to carry my tripod with the camera bag. When you open the zip of the bag you find the tripod in a folded form and with an additional bag to protect the head of the tripod. The carbon legs are very strong and when extended fully the tripod is very stable, so it is suitable for any camera, even the heavier ones. Each of the three legs can be extended in up to three sections. The extra leg in the middle can also be adjusted so the tripod can be higher. In addition, one of the legs can be converted into a monopod. I have not tried this yet as I like to use the three legs, but will give it a go soon. The head comes with three screws to control the rotation of the head, the head ball and the camera mount. The head can be adjusted to any desired angle. There are also a couple of bubble level indicators in the head, so you can check whether the tripod is on a straight position or not.Overall, I am very happy with this tripod and would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice and strong tripod.
