Now you're talkin'! I have fine but thick short hair and every brush I've tried just didn't cut it. They would feel good at first but then they are unable to truly get to the roots and brush through the hair. This Goody hair brush can be as gentle as you like or strong enough to brush the hair through to the roots. And the handle is longer than most hair brushes and is very comfortable in the hand. I'm so very glad I purchased it. I know some reviewers have stated that the bristles can come out but I don't see that and if they do to the extent the brush is no longer usable, I'll buy another one! It's that good.

Love this brush to slick back my daughter’s 4c hair in a ponytail!! We have used a lot of bristle brushes over the year and I love this one, especially because it has a long handle. Most bristle brushes have a shorter handle. Easy to clean the hair out of it.

Warning: if you're looking for a brush with thick, soft bristles, this is NOT the one for you! The bristles are thin/fine, and surprisingly stiff. If you're older like me and have thinning hair you might even find it a little bit scratchy, but my hair is also and always has been very fine, so this was exactly what I was looking for. They're even stiff enough I can part my hair using this, so away went the comb I used to use - no longer needed! Worked so well I bought a second one.

Overall it’s a good brush but like some say you’ll be buying another one due the bristles falling out And for me it doesn’t quite brush thru thick hair how I would like it too

Makes my thin soft hair look more shiny and feeling softer. Been using it for more than 2 months and still good as new. I’d recommend only if you have thin hair, my brother has curly hair and he didn’t like it much.

Goody is a great brand. They always deliver quality products, a small brush and powerful. I was happy I purchased two.
