I haven't used for that, I used to put cut up individual portions of melon for kids party. Only thing I would wonder is if they were big enough for a load of slime.

Yes, pots are stackable, they don't take up any room. Have been using them nonstop for a year, freezing portions of food, storing fruit for picnic etc. absolutely wonderful and great quality. Pots still in perfect condition after numerous runs through dishwasher, freezer and microwave. 5*

Q: Are these pots and lids secure enough to store liquids without spillage?

Yes they are! I used it to take water from my fish tank to the pet shop with no spillage. But I don't know how they would do with being knocked around.
