Sturdy
There was a slight problem with the delivery as it was 2 packages and it was 3 days between getting the first and the second but that was an issue with the delivery company not the retailer.Assembly was relatively easy the only difficulty was getting the first two back pieces in place but following the Instructions made the rest of it easy. This is a sturdy well made item that I would recommend, it is large so make sure it will fit where you want it to go before you order it.

Overall a good purchase and one I am happy with.
Easy to assemble once I noticed the letters a, b, c on the units as they were quite small. Once assembled (which didn't take too long) it looks good and with the CD's and DVD's it actually looks great. Only minor quibble would be over the colour which wasn't the oak look that the other oak pieces of furniture have. Having said that with the CD's in, it sort of blends in better. I would have no hesitation though in recommending this. Delivery by Watsons was quick and quicker than advised by Amazon. Overall a good purchase and one I am happy with.

good piece of shelving - 2 to assemble
A good cd storage solution. straight forward to put together, however it does when putting the backing panels in place need 2 people to do so, i found it impossible on my owm. Otherwise this is a well thought out piece of assemble yourself.Pleased with the size/look/ease ofconstruction/value

Excellent storage for our music and movies media
Excellent storage for our music and movies media. Holds loads. We realise at the price its not real wood but does look pretty impressive when its constructed. assembling it was pretty straight forward and even although both of us aren't particularly DIY people, we managed it without any hiccups. Would recommend it especially to people who have accumulated masses of music over the years.

Back panels of doom!
Now it's built and in place, it's lovely. It looks nice, seems strong and I like having the adjustable shelving but the build itself, yikes. I've built numerous shelves over the last few years with no problems, including another Watson, but this one nearly ended up in the bin. If I'd thought about it more, I'd never have bought it because of the slide-in panels. They are awful, unwieldy and just never seem to fit. In the end I built the unit without them, then my partner split the panels in half and somehow popped them into place, after which we taped them up again. Bit of a palaver but again, now it's built, I do really like it.

Easy to build but poor quality
Really easy to build and looks great, however after a few months the shelves have started to bow, only have DVDs on them, so now I have to regularly rotate them to avoid any serious bending or damage... I’m on the look out for something better

The assembly sheet is not quite clear regarding placing the backing boards ?
Everything went well, and for once all the pieces were there. All went together well,it looks good and all my DVD & TAPES are easily available and easy to read. For the cost and storage area covered it looks good.

Not as easy to build as Ikea units
The quality of the product is fine, but the construction of both the "cube" vinyl record storage and the larger CD/DVD shelving is very frustrating. We've built units from places like MFI (of old) and Ikea for example, this doesn't compare. You've got shelves being held in place with only dowel , while trying to slide in the backing panels into the pre-cut grooves while nothing about your structure is fixed..... For the larger CD/DVD unit you need the floor space to have that flat on the floor to build it, which also required us to move furniture to begin with!Sadly, wouldn't buy these again, wouldn't recommend them for casual DIY'ers and will look to replace the both storage units in the near future.I will add the CD/DVD storage unit seems to be solid enough now built, but the Vinyl cube shelving unit seems less convincing. We've had to turn the unit onto it's "side" instead of being vertical, because otherwise the entire weight of your records is on the dowel rather than the solid shelf.....Poor show I'm afraid.
