The Fall of Freddie the Leaf: A Story of Life for All Ages

Tastefully done and beautifully illustrated. Good for any age. I read it to my 9-year old when my father passed (a first death for both of us). It took a little of the sting away.

I chose this book because my Mom died this fall and I have four young grandsons that may have questions about death. After reading the book, I feel that this can provide a good starting point for a discussion.

I hope my 4 year old grand baby enjoys, but I really didn't think it would help her in the grief process.

This book is one of the best gifts you can give to a person who is grieving. It is absolutely perfect for ALL ages!

I read thos book in a waiting room when I did not have any loss issues and later purchased it when I did have a major loss in my life. I just find it peaceful and soothing for adults as well.as children.

I had a stillborn baby girl and was grieving and mourning. I purchased this book in 1987 and it offered me such relief. I read it out loud to our Sunday School glass. The sentiments are easily translated into any loss situation. Appropriate for preschoolers through adulthood.

this book along with The Invisible Line is great to help kids with idea of death.

This is a beautiful book that looks gently at living and dying, a must for anyone whose children (and the adults too) are having to come to terms with the impending death of someone close. Highly recommended.
