Cheap way to add storage to a MacBook Pro.
Was running out of disk space on my 2013 MacBook Pro so bought this and a 128 GB Micro SD card.They sit flush in the SD card slot and now hold a load of files I want but only rarely access.A great and economic solution to deliver the SSD disk space I needed.

Standard micro SD cards don't fit any more
What happened, the one I brought several years ago worked well?It's virtually identical but the now none of the micro SD cards make it half way before I have to get out the hammer.Obviously I'm not going to force them in, so the entire point of the product is lost. I brought a different one last week with the same outcome. Feels like no one is checking the quality.

Works great at a mind boggling price
I bought the wrong one of these from a different manufacturer. My bad, but Amazon took it back and I bought the correct one. This, although it works and has provided me with a very clever (not their idea) solution to a largely unused SD card slot in my 2012 MacBook pro, it's so over priced that i'm still evaluating where I went wrong when I agreed to the purchase.I still shudder at the fact that the facility this offers comes at this astronomical price whereas all it is is a small bit of material with virtually no evidence that it should cost more than a few pence in a Chinese manufacturing facility. Someone out there is take the mickey so. Although it works, so does a tooth pick but would you pay £20 for a tooth pick? I did..

No good
I sent this back and bought the white one for £3 which works and feels much nicer. This is aluminium yes, but it fits really hard, both the microsd and the tray into your laptop SD slot. it's therefore very hard to remove with the fingers at least. And given how much the SD's tend to have mounting issues, you often need to pull it out and put it back in again so this was a no deal for me.

Doesn't work on my Macbook Pro
Expensive and doesn't work. Micro sd card doesnt show up. Tested the card and it's working fine.

Storage boost for my mac using this discreet micro sd converter
I love it, I needed the storage for my Mac lap top. I leave it plugged in to the memory slot, because it is unobtrusive and can't get damaged.
