Right out of the box you plug in it, pop in your microbit, and press a button to hear an ungodly screeching buzzer. There is no makecode extension support. In order for this to work with microbit you need to import libraries from other sources. I went through the on-line guide to get the rocker to work and it added a GHBit extension in makecode, and I got excited, opened it up, and it isn't all in english. It seems to be designed for people that want to just install a thing and have it do a specific task, not for someone that wants to try different things and learn how it works, which is kinda what microbit is all about. There is a pin chart on the back of the device so I thought I'd use that to get the buttons to work and I really wonder if I got a bad unit because mine would just make a really loud, high pitched buzzing as soon as the program started. There didn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to it. Just loud buzzing. I flipped the switch to turn that off, but that also turned off the buttons, apparently. This device should not be this complicated. At the very least it should have a makecode extension to make it even remotely approachable.
