Se-Kure Wall Mount Domes & Mirrors ONV-180-18 Half Dome Mirror, 18" Diameter

I actually bought this for the building I work in. At 18 inches it's a pretty big half dome but the viewing angles are great. We have security cameras in all our offices but the building owner wouldn't allow security cameras in the hallways. My office is closest to the hallway entry but often people come in and are lost wondering which way to go. Now I can see them there and help take care of them. The building owner also didn't want any holes drilled in the block walls so I really wanted a lightweight model and this one fit the bill perfectly. I attached it to the wall with 4 large "Command Strips" with velcro for large photograph frames and it has held perfectly.It came with a protective film on it which was great while installing in and when removed it is an excellent mirror finish. Looking at it you would not know it is plastic instead of glass, but the cost and weight savings of plastic make it a must have in my book!

Just what I needed! Mirror is very nice. Installed it above my office cube in minutes, I can see who comes in and out of suite without standing up. Because the dome is installed so close to me, I can see folks without them seeing me (Just say still -- don't move). They are far, so images appear small to them and they don't know where to focus on the dome, whereas - you know where to focus. Good fun stuff and works!

Overall I liked this product. I needed to buy this because I have a big truck and car that tightly fit in the two car garage. I simply needed visibility to make sure I don't hit the car. I didn't want to spend too much so price is great. What attracted me to this is the dome view where you can see a bigger overall space. This Item is very light. When I held the package I thought they forgot to put the item in there. Which I questioned the durability. It's durable plastic, but I wouldn't suggest you bend too much. Comes with screws and plastic inserts for drywall. Instructions where there, but you don't need it. As you drill the screw make sure you don't tighten too much because the predrilled holes on the product will crack as it did with mine. Lastly, the only issue I have is when I pull in my truck when it's dark and the reflection glare kind of makes it difficult to see the spacing between the car and my truck. However you can see that there is distance so I'm ok with that. Perhaps just maybe this product wasn't intended for garage and small spaces. With that said though, having this product makes me feel at much ease when I drive into the garage. I'm happy.

It is flimsy but it does the work, it is clear to see. I definitely recommend it. I use it in the garage to help me park in a tight space.

I'd hoped to keep an eye, from my desk, on the main room of our studio. The desk is about 16 feet from the mirror, and I was hoping it'd give me a view of the room it faces, which is about 80 long and is separated from the desk by a wall. You can see moving shapes in the dome mirror, sometimes, but not make out much about the people the shapes presumably reflect. It's okay, I can't keep an eye on the kids on the mat (we're a karate studio), but then, they don't know that.It was easy to install and I'd've still bought it.

Very pleased. Was very easy and straight-forward to install as long as you are confident in the location as to where you want it. Very clear, mirror-like surface even though it is plastic in material making it lightweight so you don't have to look for studs in the wall to anchor it. Of course, always be careful when drilling holes in your wall so as to not hit anything electrical or water-related behind the sheet rock. I highly recommend it if you are trying to eliminate blind corners in public places to reduce crashing into other people. Would be good for security also (I guess), but that's not what I bought it for. I'm sure some of my students will use it to see if I'm coming down the hallway! LOL.

I purchased this product to be installed outside my office so I can be able to see who comes in on both ends of the hallway. As I opened the box, I pulled the dome mirror out and it was very light which was good for installing. The only reason why I gave it a "1 Star" was because it didn't come with any screws/fasteners to have it installed. We were not prepared for an "incomplete" product. It was also not worth the price and in addition the $20 shipping cost was high for receiving it within 5 days. I hope this review encourages the seller to evaluate the overall cost and hopefully to include the "fasteners" that will simplify with the installation. Have a Blessed Day!

The mirror does not allow for detail. Tried it as a teacher to keep students on task while using their computers but it doesn't work for that. I can see the the laptop is on but can't tell if it's a game or they are actually taking working.Seems good and light weight for other purposes maybe it's a plastic material but the reflection is good it's an issue of proximity.
