AQA Biology: A Level Student Book (AQA A Level Sciences 2014)

Why spend ££ on other textbooks like from gcpd or whatever it's called. Go for something that's as good as this. Only critique is sometimes it's too much information but that's great for paper 3 essay! Guaranteed A/A* basically from this.

Really thorough and easy to use, with loads of practice exam questions and great tips for studying and exams. The only thing that stops me giving it 5 stars is that the chapters don't always correspond exactly to the sub-topics of the syllabus (although all of the content is covered), and I would prefer that a lot more terms / definitions were in the glossary. These improvements would make it even easier to use.

At first I was kind of skeptical because of the price but it’s worth it. As a stressed out broke A level student, it’s hard to find websites and books that are good and cover ALL of the content and really dumbs it down for you. Because I didn’t learn all of the content at GCSE, it’s really helpful that the book doesn’t throw me into the deep end. It is a very good investment.
