I used this on a bed head where the velcro needed to resist a slight tension, it didn’t hold well. This is probably more ideal for something you want to open and close easily and frequently, it has enough grip to hold something that doesn’t need tension.

Now maybe i should have read the description better as i didn't even realise you could get the hook and loop together .. i was expecting 3m of each (hook and loop) instead of just 3m combined .. now having to buy more as didn't have a enough .. anyway thats my faultSo i actually liked the product and it was easy to sew on and seems to hold the fabric together well (i bought it to hold close an envelope flap on new cushion covers that I'm making) .. i still prefer the traditional but i can see advantages of this as it doesn't seem to catch on cloths like the traditional hook velcro strip does

Did the job. Both sides were the same, both hooks and eyes on both sides. Hadn’t seen that before but it works.
