Saves time and the condition of your hair.
My hair is coarse, thick and fairly long, with 2c/3a waves/curls, so straightening it is quite a task! I doubt there's a method/gadget type I haven't tried.Nothing beats a properly executed straight blowdry, followed by thorough use of top quality straigheners. But who has time for all that, other than for special occasions?This tool is a highly convenient alternative, which, after a little practice, is very easy to use.I find the results after the 'one-step' air staightening process similar to those of a straight blowdry. And this may be perfectly smooth enough for those with finer/less stubbornly frizz prone hair than mine.But for a sleek finish, I do need to do a quick once-over with a straightner.There is one built into the tool, which I'm sure would do the job. But as one of the reasons I bought this product was to reduce heat damage to my bleached hair, this seems suboptimal to me.So I just whip out my old Dyson Corrale straigheners. (Less heat, flex action gentle on hair)All in all, this product is definitely worth it, to cut out the hairdryer, in the pursuit of saving time and the condition of my hair.

Dead straight and shiny
These straighteners are brilliant. I have naturally curly hair but using these straighteners it goes dead straight, stays for days despite humidity and makes it shiny like I haven't seen for years!

Disappointing quality
A plastic clip from the base of where the electric cable attaches to the straightener has fallen apart. Yes, the item has been treated gently and never been dropped. I just heard the bits dropping to the floor as I was straightening my (above shoulder length) bobbed hair. The product straightens OK, hopefully they're still safe to use.

There not worth the price at all.
The plates on the straighteners went brown and burnt! Wouldn't come off and when used they just smoke.
