Most fun I've had in ages
I bought this as a Christmas present for my brother and something to keep us away from the TV during the festive holiday. Honestly, it's one of the best things I've bought on Amazon. Hours of fun/stress building it and then even more hours of switching it on and watching it work.I had read some of the comments before I bought it so I knew that it would be hard to build, and it didn't let us down. It was a challenge to build it and was touch and go at times, but it was so great to have something to build together as a family. One small criticism would be the durability of the clips which we broke while building the track, especially the intricate parts like the loops. Luckily there are spares, around 10 or 15 i think, but we used all of them, which is why it was touch and go.

Not easy to get running perfectly but possible.
Great lockdown project, took me a couple of days on and off to finish and about a week to get it working perfectly, needs quite a bit of tweaking as I had the balls falling off in a lot of places on the first run, the biggest problem I had was the spiral lift, the parts don't fit together quite correctly, there is a lip where they join together causing a little bump as they go from one part to the next and they really need to go up smoothly or they keep falling off, the actual molding of this part is the problem. I made a tube out of cardboard toilet roll tubes to fit over so the balls couldn't fall out. I actually enjoyed the task of getting this working perfectly. I have had it running for over four hours without any balls falling off, I don't like things to beat me but this nearly did. One little tip.......this is designed to run with five balls, the sixth ball is a spare, use all six and you will eventually get two balls trying to go where there is only room for one and they will get knocked off, this is how I got it running for over four hours.

Good fun - takes an age to build
This isn't for a novice, it will take you a long time to build and will need a fair amount of tweaking to get it working correctly. Once you have it running you will feel a great sense of achievement - be aware you do need to cut the lengths of track to fit and there are hundreds of bits to put together - A great item that will challenge you!

This one I dreaded with all the crap comments on here
I rarely leave reviews but the negative stuff here needs balanced. I got this yesterday (x mas day), in my forties, spanners and nuts background, wifey and I know what each other gets, no surprises. This one I dreaded with all the crap comments on here. No chinglish. No confusing pictures. In fact the only time china is mentioned is on the front of the box!! . This one says IGGI and has a distribution in Wales, gift house international or something. This is the 5 level one so I think there are fakes out there. As I said, everything in the manual is English. Still building those F###ing arm things!!! Happy New Year.!!

and it looks absolutely awesome in my classroom
This is extremely difficult to make, even for an adult! Finally, after seven - eight hours, it was made, and it looks absolutely awesome in my classroom! Looks incredible, especially when you have 5 marbles running simultaneously and definitely brought out my inner child, much more than just a grown up marble run.Note, you will need pliers and a tape measure to cut the wire. Allow an extra 4-5cm for each piece, they give you more than enough wire!

I enjoyed it though
Bigger than expected and took too long for my daughter to build; she started to lose interest. I enjoyed it though.

Marble run
Brilliant my sons loved tgese atvChristmas. A bit fiddly but kept them busy for hours. Not strong enough for young hands but then the price reflects that it's very good value my 20 year olds
