Safe for winter
Why didn't I buy this year's ago... I have always disconnected the water supply and wrapped my hose reel over winter as I am in Scotland and can have -10-15° ... I used old sheets and a heavy duty plastic bag.. but this year I saw the bag had rotted so...a proper cover for the hose reel.. good fit, easy to use, strong and great value for money..

Functionalty
This is a good size and fits easily to my large wall mounted hosepipe. Hopefully it will protect the hosepipe as the material does not seam to be that thick

I’m really impressed with the Bonna Hosepipes Cover for my garden hose! It’s the perfect solution for keeping my Hozelock hose protected from the elements. Good value
Great item, I've just bought a new hose reel , so I decide to buy this to protect it. It's a good size easy to put on and you can put the hose that attaches to your tap inside too. There is no chance of it blowing off as as it has a cord with a toggle that tightens.

Does the job but it’s considerably larger than the hose reel. You could get the hose in + a family of four.

Seems good, pleased with what it is
Really pleased with this purchase. Maybe a tad expensive, but considering the hose (30m auto-reel Hozelock) is £110+, long-term it should be worth it. I can’t say I’ve noticed much ruffling like other reviews mention? And although it is a bit bigger than the actual thing, it can be tightened using the toggle to fit much more comfortably. Being bigger also means I don’t have to worry about stuffing the ‘outer-house’ / nozzle somewhere as it can just hang freely inside this cover. It could be improved by making it a bit less plasticy and a bit more material-y, but otherwise I’m pleased. Time well tell as to its longevity.
