It does rotate if once the line is set up you loosen the bottom two holding screws then the whole pole rotates freely

Q: What size is it when folded?

It's approximately 80cm long and the bag it comes with has a circular base 23cm diameter. As a guide it's about 63cm max. circumference when packed. It splits in to 2 halves, top and bottom before you put it in to the carry bag provided. I assume you meant when folded to pack away. Hope this helps.

I don't know sorry - the item is such poor quality we sent it straight back!

Q: What width is the base? Want to know if it will fit in a bath.

not sure as base size can be changed, however it needs to be covering a wide space bigger than a bath, its great for outside especially on grass but not so brill on concrete as its very lightweight
