Used in 15 year old Citroen Relay van to replace cassette player. Easy install just plug and play. Great for older vehicles and the second of these I now have with the first working perfectly for over a year. Tried half price, no name, alternatives with mixed success. You get what you pay for and I recommend this unit as an easy to use, good quality replacement.

Really like this player and it's functions. Install the song pal app to your phone so that your music library can be played via bluetooth. Easy to install the player into the vehicle once you obtain the correct leads. Make sure you get a steering wheel stalk adapter if applicable to enable use of steering wheel controls.

The Sony MEX-n5200bt stereo does what it says on the box. It is not a highly luxerious aftermarket stereo that will seamlessly do everything you want quickly and easily; there are a few issues here and there. However, for the price of the unit... What you get is brilliant. The audio quality is good, not amazing. If you're an audiophile looking for super crisp highs and a bass you can really feel, this stereo is not for you. If you're wanting a head unit that simply makes the car look great then I can't recommend it enough. The coloured LED back-light is so satisfying to look at and can be very well customised to suit it your tastes. Bright enough to stand out but not too bright that it becomes a distraction. Of course it also has a dimmer function which you can manually set a time for it to dim. The aux, USB and Bluetooth abilities are all very handy. I most frequently use the Bluetooth and when you get connected it (usually) works perfectly. There can sometimes be a little bit of a fight to get my phone connected however I've more or less got the technique down now (NFC is a gift from above). The audio quality over Bluetooth remains good I should add. I wired the steering wheel buttons and I must say I was surprised at the ease of which I can customise what each button does right from the head unit itself. The hands free mic is clear on calls and very useful for the likes of Google assistant/bixby etc. For making voice commands to send texts, make calls ask without looking at your phone. The wire is long enough that I could probably reach it to the boot if I so desired. All in all, I am very pleased with the head unit and would strongly recommend it to anyone looking to go for an after-market stereo without breaking the bank.

Bought for my partner as he recently passed his test and had no stereo to listen too.. He picked this head unit and he loves it great sound quality and looks good when lit up and in use.. had many comments on the look of it.. would purchase again no hesitation 👍🏻

Got this for my son. He think it's great! Many features and works off the phone. He says the phone app. works very well and is easy to install and use.

Great stereo, and works well with my phone. But keep the instruction book handy, as it's a bit tricky to get used to. But i do love it, and am considering it for another car.

Don't really have any complaints about this stereo. Can see what other reviewers are saying - the EQ settings don't make that much difference and compared to the 6 levels of bass boost on my old pioneer the 2 levels of extra bass on this isn't as good but the value for money here is great.

Looks good but as another reviewer said some options have been removed and the bass is no way as good as my 4 year old Sony head unit, when i phone a couple of people the number rang did not match the contact.

Das MEX-N5200BT wurde vor wenigen Tagen in einem älteren Opel Astra-G (BJ 2003) unter Zuhilfenahme eines connects-2 Adapters für ISO und Lenkradfernbedienung eingebaut und ersetzte dabei einen älteren Sony MiniDisc Receiver. Der Einbau war dank des zusätzlich erworbenen Adapters kinderleicht, die Lenkradfernbedienung konnte ohne Probleme angelernt werden und klanglich ist es im Musik und Telefonbetrieb sehr ordentlich. Im Astra ist die originale Lautsprecheranlage verbaut, die von der im Radio verbauten 4x 55W Endstufe gut angespielt wird. Die Musik klingt sauber aufgelöst, räumlich unaufdringlich und klar. Einzig störend bzw. Gewöhnungsbedürftig ist, dass ein Drücken auf den Lautstärkeregler nicht wie bei vergangenen Sony Geräten als Einschalter und Quellenwahl dient, sondern um in das Menü zu gelangen. Der Quellwahlschalter ist jetzt eine aus meiner Sicht viel zu kleine Taste links oberhalb des Lautstärkereglers. Gut, dass die Lenkradfernbedienung diese Funktion übernimmt und man so nicht während der Fahrt durch die Suche eines mini-Knöpfchens abgelenkt wird. Die Verlegung des Mikrofonkabels war ebenfalls einfach. Als Mikro-Position wurde die obere Mitte des Lenkradgehäuses gewählt, wo es nun nicht störend zwischen den Rundinstrumenten und dem Lnkrad steht und leicht nach oben auf den Fahrer gerichtet ist. Die Sprachübertragung im Bluetooth Telefonmodus bezeichne ich sowohl im Auto, als auch als Anrufer, als gut und klar verständlich. Gute gefallen hat mir zudem die Möglichkeit der getrennten Farbanpassung von Display und Bedienelementen. Eine optisch nahtlose Intergration sollte so in jedem Fahrzeug möglich sein. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung! Der Versand über Conrad hat ebenfalls gut und schnell funktioniert.

Instalada en FR 2004. Todo el que haya tenido o tiene este coche, sabe que el equipo de serie tiene muy buen sonido. Pero esta muy desfasado y, con esta Sony no echas nada en falta. Además se consigue una apreciable mejora en calidad de sonido y, sobretodo en potencia!! Aun con los altavoces de serie. Me ha llegado con un libro aparte con instrucciones en español (leí que no venia, en un comentario) pero de todas formas también, se pueden descargar de la pagina oficial. En la caja te viene todo lo necesario. Lo único que hay que comprar, es el adaptador de antena y el marco para DIN estándar (si tienes este coche). También los vende Amazon directamente, así que rapidez y tranquilidad asegurada. Los menús de la radio están en inglés (como la mayoría) pero bien estructurados e intuitivos. Con sólo una hora enfrente de la radio con las instrucciones, te haces con ellos y configuras la radio a tu gusto perfectamente. Bluetooth: El primer emparejamiento es rápido y mas por NFC. En el primero se descarga toda tu guía y se empareja con la biblioteca de música. Los siguientes también son rápidos y automáticos, sin desconexiones ni fallos. Las llamadas se escuchan muy bien, baja el volumen de la música y suena por los altavoces. Te escuchan bien. Además durante una llamada te deja subir o bajar el volumen del micrófono (para que te escuchen mejor) o el volumen de la persona que esta al otro lado. La calidad de la reproducion de música por bluetooth es casi identica a la reproducción por USB, me ha sorprendido gratamente. Hasta diría que es muy dificil apreciar diferencias. También es compatible con las app's que puedan enviar sonido por bluetooth como spoty o la navegación GPS. Con el GPS, cada vez que da una indicación antes suenan dos bips y baja la musica. Un poco pesado si vas por ciudad, ya que los cortes de la fuente que escuches son constantes. Mejor solo escuchar al GPS del movil en esos casos. Pero funciona perfectamente. Recepción de radio: Se escuchan genial las emisoras!! Ahi si que he notado una muy clara mejora con la anterior radio. Y no he tenido ningún problema con el RDS y el segumiento automatico de la frecuencia de la emisora, como leí en un comentario. Reproduccion USB: Solo he probado conectando el movil al puerto, y tengo almacenados unos 2,5 gigas de música. No he probado con una memoria USB con 16 o 32 gigas de musica. De todas formas, para las memorias USB en las instrucciones te indica el numero de carpetas y archivos por carpeta que puede gestionar. Creo que son 256 carpetas y 256 archivos (canciones) por carpeta. En resumen, reproducion rápida, sin cortes, te muestra el nombre de la canción o album o autor, lo que elijas. Y el sonido buenísimo y además te carga el movil. Creo que es carga rápida. Total gestión sobre la reproducción, Saltar, pausar, repetir, reproducción aleatoria, etc... AUX: No he probado esta conexión aun. CD: Púes como cualquier buen reproductor de CD. Funciona perfectamente. Display e iluminación: Súper conseguido!! La lectura clara y fácil y con un alto contraste. Los colores de las letras y las luces de la caratula, son muy bonitos y cambian de color e intensidad automáticamente o puedes configurar el color que mas te guste y dejarlo fijo. También puedes hacer que vayan al ritmo de la música. CONTRAS: solo le veo dos fallos y uno es una tonteria. El importante, es que tengo la alimentación conectada, como indica para los coches del grupo VW. Tiene alimentación permanente para guardas todas las memorias y ajustes. Pero solo se enciende si está la llave en el contacto (No el coche encendido) o sea que si quieres encenderla sin poner la llave, no se puede (o yo no se hacerlo) y en la configuración no existe esta opción, como si tenia en la radio de serie. Si sacas la llave se apaga. Y si alguien descubre como encenderla sin poner la llave en el contacto, que deje un comentario. El otro... es que si sacas la carátula a la primera, puedes estar seguro que ese es tu dia de suerte. Es una tonteria, pero un dia si llevas prisa, te puede llegar a poner muy nervioso.

Verwende den Radio in einem Vectra B, statt dem originalen NCDR1100. Einbau war dank der ISO-Stecker überhaupt kein Problem und Radio funktionierte auf Anhieb. + Die Menüführung ist einfach und übersichtlich + Bluetooth Kopplung verlief per NFC schnell und einfach. + Spotify, Youtube & Co. übertragen schnell und einfach per Bluetooth von Smartphone auf Radio. Außerdem kann man mittels Radio die Lieder weiterklicken. + Freispecheinrichtung mit dem mitgelieferten Mikrofon ist verwendbar, der Gesprächspartner versteht einen deutlich und klar - auch mit der alten Schüssel auf der Autobahn! Wichtig dabei ist, das Mikrofon richtig auszurichten und Feinjustierung mittels dem "MIC" Knopf. + Farbwechsel für Display und Bedienelemente gefällt mir besonders - konnte das Radio perfekt an der hässlichen, gelben Opel - Innenbeleuchtung anpassen. + Klangqualität ist definitiv besser als vom Originalen (wäre auch schlimm, wenn nicht) - Vorgefertigte EQ Sparten sind auch nicht so schlecht.

Bin zufrieden. Versand superschnell. Alles drin- Halter Kabelsatz Micro. Einbau supereinfach durch DIN Stecker.Nach einigen male durchlesen der Anleitung wurde auch die Bedienung einfacher. BT Verbindung mit dem Handy, USB, Freisprecheinrichtung alles super vom Klang und der Nutzbarkeit. Beleuchtung ist in zig Tausend Varianten einstellbar.Für diesen Preis unschlagbar

Radio muy maja, se escucha muy bien. Con 6 salidas (2 delanteros, 2 traseros y 2 de subwoofers), micro para el bluetooth y entrada para el mando del del volante, en caso de tener. Sintoniza la radio muy bien. Como defecto, para mi gusto es un engorro borrar las sincronizaciones de bluetooth antiguas. También a veces a uno de mis móviles (LG G1) le cuesta mucho sincronizar, en cambio con el Note8 o en el Samsung Galaxy A5 va perfecto.
