ShockRite Electric Fence Energiser SRB120 1.2 Joule 12 Volt, Earth Stake & Cables 3 Year Warranty

I've been using shockrite energisers for the past 6/7 years and wouldn't use any other. They keep my two naughty, escape artist shetland ponies in and as the green light turns to red to warn the battery is low I know when I need to swap for fully charged battery.

The unit arrived next day, amazing for the Highlands of Scotland. The instructions were clear and the unit very easy to set up. It is more than powerful enough to power up electric fence tape two strands round 4 acres. I particularly like the waterproof on off switch and the power indicator which is green when the unit is on and the battery fully charged and then it goes red when the battery is low. All in all a great wee piece of kit that has it's own stand/earth spike ideal for a temporary corral for horse/pony when for example away at an event. The Scottish weather will test it's waterproofing, hope I don't need to call on the long 3year guarantee.

This is a great electric fence unit for the price. Our mare barges or jumps through electric tape and nothing seems to bother her. She hasn't escaped since we started using it. The only thing that would improve it is an on and off switch.

Awful - simply doesn’t work and not fit for purpose. Ticks away but doesn’t electrify the fence at all despite being Installed correctly with a fully charged powerful battery and new electric fence wire but sadly doesn’t actually electrify the fence. The company have said that they won’t refund or provide returns service and that I must pay to post back so that they can run tests on the unit. Then they might allegedly consider refunding if they also decide it doesn’t work. I can’t say I’m impressed and I certainly wouldn’t use again. Rubbish item and very poor customer service.
