Wild Rose Beauty Balm, Radiant & Nourished Skin, For All Skin Types, Cruelty-Free, 50g

The first thing you notice once you lift the lid is the gorgeous scent. Very strong but beautiful if you like rose and lavender. It is reminiscent of a luxury spa treatment. The balm itself is a solid dull yellow but which melts easily under the slightest pressure of your finger. I find that I need to use only very little at a time - seriously just a little dab for each cheek and another for my forehead and chin. It is easy to massage in - and yes of course it is a little greasy yet it doesn't feel uncomfortably greasy. I dislike the greasy feel of some creams and lotions but this one felt as if it was going to simply bathe and mosturise your skin luxuriously. I must be honest and haven't actually felt the benefit of its exfoliating prowess with the little muslin cloth - it does a good job as a cleanser sure, but am not convinced that that's the best use of this balm, especially at its price point. I use it as an overnight mask - that is where I feel it scores as a true wonder balm. It is not cheap but yet again, it is good value firstly because I don't think you need very much for each use and secondly, it does a wonderful job of keeping your skin mosturised and supple. I am in my middle age and am beginning to feel the effects of age - sigh - dryer skin etc even though I have combination skin. This balm feels right - and indeed, in the morning I have this really dewy and glowing skin in the morning. I bought it at a heavily discounted price which was still expensive - if not, to be honest I would have baulked at buying at full price. I will buy again - not at the full price admittedly - but certainly again at a lower price point.

I am in my 50’s and used to wear an Expensive moisturiser and was recommended to me. This glides on my skin and has improved the appearance of my face and neck tremendously. A small amount is required per application and it lasts a long time. Perfect beneath make up and the fragrance is adorable, definitely value for money. I highly recommended this product

I love this balm. This is my 4th tub of it and I love everything about it. The smell is beautiful, the texture is lovely and it makes my skin so soft and glowing without being too heavy. I have sensitive and dry skin prone to redness and this helps and I can’t do without it now. I’ve tried other creams in between but nothing is as good for me. Also love that the ingredients are good quality and non toxic and I personally am really fond of the smell. Also a bonus is the versatility of this product. Use it for an everyday balm/face cream, face mask and face cleanser

Out of all of the Neal's Yard products I have tried this is my stand-out favourite. I buy in the cheaper end of the face product market so Neal's Yard has to justify its price for me to buy it. This product may look expensive at first glance but it packs a mighty punch. You need very little of it and at first it may feel counter-intuitive to be putting something that doesn't feel like a cream on your face but it is very easily absorbed. I know that one way of using a face balm is to apply it then wash it off. I don't do that. I use it lightly both as a day and as a night cream; by day if it isn't very sunny and I want good protection against other elements like the cold or wind; by night as a wonderful and highly effective restorative. My skin never looks better than after a night's sleep with balm working its magic. (I do avoid using it around the bottom of my nose, where I can be prone to spots.) This balm also has the benefit of being a brilliant travel product, as you need to take no more than half the quantity of night cream you might usually travel with. I used it non-stop during a fortnight in Norway last year and it was marvellous, other women were saying how dry their skin was and that they were getting wind-chapped, I had no issues and my skin looked great. All Neal's Yard products are good and buying them means that you're also buying into their philosophy. Win win!

I've used this for years now and I love it. Smells beautiful, a little good a long way, so it's very long lasting, and it makes my skin look and feel absolutely lovely. Massive improvement in skin tone and quality since I've been using it. And this is a bargain price, too - it's over £40 in the shop!

Love the texture, the smell, the packaging and how it makes my skin feel. The best. Not sure why you would want to wipe it off with the cloth though!
