Nice compact phone
My Yealink phone went bad and I wanted something compact. This fit the bill. Never heard of Fanvil but they seem to have a large selection of phones and seem to do a reasonable job with publishing updates on their website. Unboxed it, updated firmware, and was up an running in no time. SRTP working but not TLS due to a certificate error. There's a lock icon when the call connects to indicate SRTP is working. If TLS is an important feature for you I suspect simply loading the certificate will get it up and running. Actually I'd call it a good design that out of the box simply won't accept any random certificate. It will auto dial numbers as long as you properly configure the digit map. They actually have a 16 page document describing all the possible configurations for just this one feature. This is not exactly a home plug and play type of product and it's good they have documentation.

Not a good work phone
We use these phones at work. They are absolutely terrible. First, you dial the area code and number and have to wait about 10 seconds before the phone decides to connect. Then when I hang up, I really have to slam it down hard otherwise it will stay connected. Terrible phone, I do not recommend.
