Great antenna for my Sony receiver. It works great and a decent price. I just wish it came in white.

Far exceeds expectations! The nearest FM classical music station is in Austin 60 miles away. Reception was poor despite owning a high quality table radio. I tried two different antenna systems, both of which were pricey and ungainly, but neither worked well. I was resigned to the idea of buying an even more expensive radio when I saw this antenna and thought it was worth a try. The antenna works extremely well, the reception is perfectly acceptable, and the antenna lies on a counter top out of the way.

Just kidding about the TOASTER thing... ANTENNA works GREAT! Even gets CLASSIC 1960's FM Rock from `somewhere' in the rings of Saturn...

Torn between a 2 and a 3. Installed in seconds. Didn't do much for the receiver reception. Feeling disappointed. Unit is on top level of house in flat neighborhood. No sources of interference.

Obviously, this is designed to be resonant at FM radio frequencies. So it's essentially a "random wire" for other frequencies, and one would expect it to work only so-so for, say, TV channels on air. I thought I'd give it a try anyway for this "off-label" purpose, since it has the standard F coax connector, and since I have a spare TV in the basement, and I didn't want the hassle or expense of putting in an external antenna, or something large and visible like a Mohu Leaf, especially since I was almost never watching TV channels with this TV. So I figured for this price, maybe it would get a few channels, maybe not. That's about what happened. I got a few of the TV stations. Clearly the wire is active, as I got completely different performance with the wire in different positions, etc., so that's good, and means this "antenna" is doing something. So, if you're buying it as a FM radio antenna, I am sure it works great, and you should buy it. If you are mulling it over as a possible TV antenna? Yeah, it'll do something, but maybe not much, but this is as expected.

perfect if your reciever does not have a threaded antenna attachment. it works with threaded too. cant go wrong with this.
