As others have said, hard to get the backing off. Taking me about a minute each time even with okay fingernails.

Easy to apply although to peel the adhesive plastic film off tape requires skill! Having long fingernails helped, otherwise tweezers would have done the job. Haven’t needed to remove pads once stuck so unable to comment on its ease of removal from a surface. Overall did the job I purchased it, item remains firmly and securely adhered to its surface, so would highly recommend. You can’t go wrong with 3M products.

This tape has a very strong adhesive, such that it's difficult to get the backing tape off. Once you have and applied it, that's it, it's stuck and it isn't easy to remove if you've not quite positioned it correctly, so get it right first time. Because of the thickness it works out quite expensive if you need to use a lot, but it certainly does a good job.

Was dubious about this tape, as needed to stick a rear top boot spoiler on a hatch back...also bought a tube of "no nails" sealant for add strength, believe me it wasn't needed, the tape stuck firm absolutely solid, but make sure you line up what it is intended for, as once its stuck its stuck...GREAT STUFF, will be ording more..
