Q: What is used as a pillow with this as normal pillow too big?

I’ve bought the bolster pillow for ekevating my head during sleep so i actually use it with 2 Ikea fewther pillows but that might be too much for most people.

Q: can it be used for lumbar support?

Well, it works I think. But there was no strap, you can't hang it on the chairs. Also, the size may a little small for lumbar support. But that depends. You may have a try .

Q: Is this for a dubble bed?

It is not for any particular size bed. It is very hard. I don’t use mine.

Q: Can this be used as a side support in a chair.

In my opinion, if you want to rest your elbows/arms on it while sitting 90 degrees on a chair, then it is too low. It is designed to fit between the bottom/back of your head and the base of your neck. So it is quite thin compared to arm rests of chairs. Perhaps you want to check the dimensions to see if it would work for your case though..
