Amazing
This little electric cooker has quickly become one of my favorite appliances! The 2L size is just right for making ramen, pasta, oatmeal, or even searing small portions of meat. I love the dual power control—it heats up quickly on high but also lets me simmer gently on low. The non-stick surface makes cooking and cleanup super easy, and the foldable handle is a clever touch that makes it easy to store or take along when traveling. Perfect for dorms, camping, or quick meals at home, this cooker is both practical and reliable. It saves time, space, and effort while still delivering great results. Highly recommend for anyone who wants convenience without sacrificing quality!

A Must-Have for Travel!
I absolutely love this HYTRIC Electric Cooker. As someone who travels frequently, this cooker is an absolute game-changer. The portable and detachable design makes it incredibly easy to pack and clean. I was really impressed with how well the non-stick coating works—I've used it for everything from ramen and oatmeal to sautéing veggies and it's a breeze to clean up. The dual power settings are a fantastic feature, giving me the flexibility to quickly boil water or simmer something slowly. The size is perfect for one or two people, and it doesn't take up much space in my small kitchen area. The safety features, like the automatic shut-off and non-slip feet, give me great peace of mind. This is a very well-made and thoughtful product that I highly recommend for anyone needing a compact and versatile cooking solution!

Great Little Portable Cooker
The HYTRIC 2L Portable Electric Cooker is well suited for traveling. It is compact, everything stores in the pot. It easily boils water to cook noodles, and even will cook scrambled eggs with no problems. I have taken it camping and used it to cook right on the table. I would definitely get another one.

The little electric pot that can
I think the size is perfect for 2-4 people on the go, for dorm or in any short term lodging. It works and I hope it last a number of uses. No carry bag so you'll have to be careful when packing or transporting. Bear in mind that it is cheap, not heavy duty (the slide switch feels very light) so lower your expectations. If you do that, this is a very good pot. It's portable and compact. I just got it and tried it as soon. Like any new cooking item, first use resulted with a little smoke and little plastic smell (the package comes with an important notice that it is normal) so make sure to use it with an exhaust or in a ventilated area. Smoke and smell only lasted a little while. I cooked 3 cups of white rice in 25 minutes (not a rice cooker so keep watch or you'll burn your rice). It is nonstick so clean up is easy. I fried eggs in 7-10 minutes. I boiled eggs in 20 minutes. It takes about 10-15 mins to have a rolling boil. I expected it to be a bit slow since it's small. I'd be concerned of fire hazard if it becomes very hot the moment you plug it in so I am fine to wait a bit for it to boil. But it really boils. I cooked sausage in 5 minutes. Anything quick like ramen will not be a problem. I believe it will work for hotpot too. Definitely taking this with me for this coming 3-day weekend trip.

Needs better quality control
A bit disappointed, got it as a gift but when she opened the item It has what we believe to be water stain or calcium stain. We tried washing it off but it won’t come off

Nice portable cooker.
At first I was skeptical because other reviews said there was some heating issues and it took a while to heat up but from my experience, I use it to cook my breakfast oatmeal and my late night ramen snack, both of which I have no issues with heating up the pot. It got to temp relatively fast. It looks pretty tasteful and the overall quality is decent. The only thing I am concerned about is the built in handle, sometimes with a heavier load, I am not sure how long it will hold up. The pan has a nonstick coating so I have no issues with sticking and its easy to clean. Great value for money for a portable cooker.

Great little cooker
This little pot has become my favorite kitchen appliance for the past year. It works well, (although a bit slow), it stacks very neatly, and is very easy to clean. I can easily run it off my Jackery when the power goes out or when I’m camping. It’s also multifunctional so I don’t need to carry any other cooker when I camp. I boil eggs, make soup or heat canned soup, cook rice or oatmeal, even fry a pork chop in it. Great easy storage in my RV, too, so it goes with me when I travel. No regrets about this purchase.

Smoking, plastic smell.
Bought this to cook light foods at work. Really wanted a hot pot with a separate heating element for easy washing. However, when I first used it it smoked for about 30s and gave off a very burnt electrical smell. It also takes a while to come to a boil with no food added in. Now after the third use it no longer smokes but still has a slight smell. I will keep to use since I need it but it’s not ideal.

doesn't really boil water, just keep it warm, its ok for instant noodles and that's about it. wouldn't recommend this if you are looking for a alternative cooking device.
