Brilliant machine - perfect for counting proceeds of charity events
Awesome piece of kit. As the new Treasurer, I convinced the PTA Committee to buy this after having spent almost a week counting and sorting the proceeds of our Christmas Fair. It was a complete nightmare! All subsequent event proceeds have been a dream - it even separated an old large Penny and some euros from the stash! My children love to help too by pouring the coins into the top so it's a win win all round!

Counts coins with no mistakes
Sturdy. Great that its reports are already sorted out in descending order (easier to account). Bare in mind that many othe machines do not have this function. So far works perfectly fine (few kilos of coins every week). I have found 3 downsides only:The design of the bottom coin containers is totally brainless - you have to check it before re attaching as one to few coins can easily stuck inside. The good thing about those containers is that the are 'high' ensuring no coin can flip from one container to another (it happened to me few times with other machines). I find transparent containers more functional, but... probably for antithetical reasons they made them solid black... I personally want this kind of machines to be more practical than 'cool', but that is me (and I know that solid colour is a bid cheaper, but it is not the low price option (much cheaper ones do decent job as well (had few already) but usually the do not report in descending order I find very useful -thus came back to zapp after few years of successfully using 'no-names'.The other disadvantage are the buttons - they were a bit irresponsible at the beginning , you have to press them precisely at the middle. Either I got used to them now, or the cover got softer, but it is becoming a lesser issue for me with each use.Final downside is a silly function, you cannot programme - dimming the display. For what sake? Saving energy? I work slowly and often before I put values on my spreadsheet the display dims and I have to 'wake it up' (any button probably, but I always press report - playing safe with money is my habit :) ). Totally, useless function or it should be optional (I can see a use for it at very , very specific scenario, but most of us just sorts coins at the end of the day, week, month - no need for the display t switch off itself.Finished with moaning. It does the job, feels (and probably is for the price) solid and sturdy. Slightly better than the budget ones (though most of the budget ones have better coin drawers (bottom containers). See if the fact that it has slightly better software (convenient reporting) is enough reason for you to spend few pounds more. It is not perfect, but so far, I am quite happy with the product.

Great coin Sorter !
Excellent Product for a retailer !! Blessing in disguise when most of the time is spent counting coins this machine simply makes life lot more easier. Only feedback would be if you could start selling a package deal with machine some coin bags too ?

Accuracy
It's counted wrong all the time. I had counted a lot of times but every time same error, it just counted 1 coine more in every container.

Larger than expected.
Very good counter. Saves hours counting and batching loose change. The only downside is that it is larger than I was expecting so I will have to find a bigger place to store it.

Excellent piece of kit! !!
Have only used the machine for one large count of approx £500 of mixed change. Was a real time saver, fast counting, easy to use and accurate. I checked almost every bag, brought to bank to exchange for paper notes, the bags of change were 100% accurate.**only thing to be careful about is it does not distinguish foreign currency. In my situation there were two 5 cent euro coins in the mix, the machine put them through as 20 pence pieces. It's easi checked, just flick through the counted coins to ensure they are all the same.Great machine! !!, can highly recommend.I cannot give 5 stars because of the inability to distinguish foreign coins, apart from that the machine is excellent! !!!

You will not regret your investment!
Delighted to finally have a coin counter! Had never thought of it until someone kindly gave us the money to buy ourselves one and not looking back!Have no experience with other brands or models but have had this for several weeks now and it's definitely been a time saver.Being OCD and having no trust of technology means I was double checking that it works correctly at first and now we have got to know each other I think I have found all it's glitches. Foreign coins put the totals off and are an issue for us as it's hard to spot them all before they go through the counter, certainly not the counters fault! I have also found that filling it up to the top (as shown in the picture) tends to make it more awkward to use so just don't fill the hopper up so much.I love this machine, store collections, collection boxes, events and charity shop takings are all now much quicker to bank! Absolutely recommend it!Will be even easier to use once all the old pound coins have phased out too!
