Learning Resources Little Banker Coin Matching Game

Easy for children to learn but really helps with learning about number and money. Really impressed.

Okay...the spinner thing is confusing!...it makes NO sense at all for any type of game you could play with this! However, its a good stock of play money that looks realistic enough and plenty of money cards to either match up the coins on one side (one side has pictures of a coin or combination of coins - this can allow you to talk about coins in more detail (shape, size and colour) when just learning about money) or figure out a small money amount on the other side (the other side of the cards have pictures of items with a price tag on them and the price tag has a money amount which is great for working out the coins you need to meet the amount! Great for learning how to add up money!). I bought this for my son, he is in reception. This would be suitable up till the end of year 1.

We enjoyed the game and it has improve my child's understand of the coin values and so improved adding on 10s, 20s and 5s for example. I also subsequently purchased for a friend's child too.

Bought this for my seven year old daughter who was struggling slightly with maths and money. Although the included games are slightly simplistic, we just used the money to devise our own games. I liked the money box design too - she loved putting the money in and has encouraged her to save. Overall, It certainly has made my daughter more interested in money and has definitely helped her at school.

These are great, realistic and perfect for learning about money. We've played the games a couple of times but mostly used for homeschooling as a maths learning aid. Very pleased.

Good for younger kids starting to learn money , my daughter is in p4 and finds math hard but this was still a little too easy

Good game for teaching coin recognition and value. Numerous coins but always seem to run out of a penny coin. Definitely recommend as a game that teaches money and to play shops etc with my 6 year old as well as the game
