I’m a kitchen gadget junkie I’ve seen the magnetic bars but I rent so I couldn’t permanently attach anything to the walls also I’m single and blind so getting some thing level gonna happen with me I pondered this type of knife block holder, thinking from file, and then I finally broke down and bought this one now assembling it wasn’t so bad, but I had to use a decent screwdriver and not the Allen wrench type driver that came with it I thought forever in a day to get that middle screw in. I think I missed the whole, but the way I would stop by my dad was you do one and then the other then you work the middle so that’s what I did now I got to tell you I am now more scared of slicing a finger off. It’s a try to pry and knife off of the magnets. These are some strong magnets and the people that come to help me read my mail vacuum my floors they have all been very impressed. They say the block is beautiful and it looks good so I’m taking your worded that, but I got to tell you out of all the kitchen gadgets I own this one by far is ingenious , now I’ve been a little concerned about the effects of magnetic energy on my high carbon steel pricing knives so time will tellIf you’re thinking of purchasing this or some thing similar, you can’t go wrong with the double sided freestanding, magnetic knife holder I’ve seen on YouTube where they slide the knife up and slide it down like it’s a knife block but I’ve also seen the knives put on with the back of the blade And then turn the night so it lays flat so I have incorporated both when I go to put a knife back on that holder. I do it with the flat end of the blade on the back and then I turn it once it’s attached to leave the blade flat and then to take them off. I slide them up like a knife block that way I am not having to worry about chopping fingers off , I will edit next Monday when my Pca comes with the picture but I’m telling you all don’t hesitate to buy this. You’re really you’re not gonna regret it at all. It’s just three screws on the bottom attaching the base to the board and you’re done and believe me if I can figure out and get it good enough to work for me, you all are going to be over the moon. Happy with what you buy .

The weighted base makes it very stable. Holds all my cooking knives, some cooking tools, and holds them securely. Very satisfied with this particular unit.

Works incredibly well and takes up what feels like less counter space than a traditional knife block would. The magnets are strong and my knives just kind of slap to it as I put them away. The only issue I have, and maybe it’s my roommate’s user error, is that the few has a few scratches from where a knife maybe got pulled in by the magnets a little too hard and at a bad angle.So the finish could use a heavier protective coat maybe.

Highly recommend the acacia wood!Would definitely buy again and may as aGift.

Love it ! The Allen wrench was difficult to use as it didn't stay in place ... kept slipping .but love the hold and look .

I like this knife holder. It does so far have strong magnets and is working very well.

I wasn’t prepared for how strong and heavy this block was. We had several knives that just didn’t fit anywhere so we bought this and it works great. On our block is a pair of scissors, large cutting knife, two serrated knives, a mini chopping knife, four steak knives, and a paring knife. The only thing that I am having trouble getting used is literally how strong it is. I can’t just use one hand and try and slip it off, it literally has to be pulled off. That’s a positive and a negative.

At this price point, I'm really happy with the magnetic knife block I ordered. It's exactly what I wanted. The base screws into the magnetic knife board with three screws (everything needed for assembly is included). The pre-drilled screw holes were aligned correctly. The base feels sturdy and secure; my knife block does not wobble. The magnets have a good, strong grip on my stainless steel knives, too - they snap firmly into place on the board.The minor downside of this product is the finish, which is overall pretty good but not 100% flawless. No issues that noticeably impact the appearance of the item. Just a couple tiny scratches and chips you would only notice if you were inspecting it closely. Personally that kind of thing does not bother me. I'm eventually going to scratch the wood myself anyway as I use the knife board.

The magnet is strong and the wood is quite sturdy. It holds 7 or more knives. High quality and looks great!

I love this heavy knife holder, colur of the wood is beautiful, it's a bit heavy and sturdy, and knives stick on immediately. Great magnet inside.But, scratches easily and then it's not so beautiful lol. Wish there was something it can be clear coated with so it's scratch resistant

This is amazing - magnet is so strong and the wood is very substantial and sturdy. I will be buying more to gift to people - looks so nice and clean on the counter.

I am a home cook who needs more organization and this is one element of that. Works great. Easy to install.
