It's a beast!
I was more than just a little surprise and pleased when I received this moving head light. It's a beast! Very bright with powerful motors to move the lighting head around. I first set it up to be sound activated and I was not disappointed. it worked great! Then I plugged it into my DMX board. WOW.... lots of great lighting effects, easy to control and did I mention that this thing is BRIGHT? I've used moving head lights that cost twice this much and this one will hold its own with any of them. It has built in fans that are about the same noise level as other lighting instruments of this type so if you've used moving head lights in the past you know what you're getting into there. I'm not going to list all the options you have with this plugged into a light board. Suffice it to say there are a number of them and they all look great. The colors are bright and crisp and the entire light seems very well built. Setting up this light is easy and the menu's are simple to move through. All in all it's just a really great quality light and it's priced well below other lights that are of a similar size with similar features. I should mention that this thing is pretty heavy. You'll need a pretty strong truss system if you intend to hang it. Just a great light and a really nice addition to my light show.

Phenomenal
This thing is extraordinary. It’s also really heavy, so be careful when taking it out of the box. I really wish they included a hard case for this thing because one it is very heavy and it would be helpful being able to roll it out Anne 2. It needs protection because it is an optical instrument, I am working on the exact dimensions. I need for the hard case enough area for phone protection and you will need at least 3 inches around either side because this thing is so heavy. The build quality is extraordinary. This thing is professional equipment through and through with a premium fit and finish there is absolutely nothing cheap or janky about this thing. It looks like it was stolen from a Taylor Swift show. It has a powerful motor and intuitive controls and is DMX capable. Comes with the mounting bracket set and the DMX cable and a power. The dimensions are roughly 18 inches on the side in a cube shape so you’re gonna need a big boy of a hard case. You can go a little bit smaller on the depth except that’s the area that’s going to take most of the weight so I would look for a, 2 foot hard case that’s 2 feet wide and 2 feet deep in the interior dimensions.

The Great Investment moving headlights for a medium size party event
This is a professional and perfect stage lighting for a medium size party event as it gives you multiple options to run from DMX, auto, random and or sound mode. In the video clip I was running it on auto and sound mode. I can possibly mix it in with my 2 Chauvet spot 110 setup but I consider this fixture as a great fit for a medium sized event as it is very bright and strong beam without the need of fog or haze. The display screen menu option it is great and easy to navigate and configure either through DMX or standalone through sounds or auto. I would love to get the second one to make the perfect match and setup with my other two shehds 160W moving headlights for my next event. For now I will be adding this to my DMX setup to see how great this will do. I strongly recommend this moving headlights fixture to be your next purchase for your next event. This light is heavy so it would be perfect on a totem pole and or a more sturdy and professional light trust

This moving light needs design improvements
I ordered this light to what advances have been made with LED technology in moving head lights. I have had a chance to test this fixture and will present my results. Features I liked: • The LED is a very bright white. • All color changes are on a color wheel. There are 13 colors plus open; adjacent colors can be split. The colors are saturated. • The gobo wheel has 14 patterns plus open. • There is a 16 part prism that can be static, or rotate forward/reverse. • Colors, gobos, and prism controls are independent of one another, offering a wide selection of customized effects. • There is a strobe function. • The fixture is very lightweight. The two side handles make it easy to lift and move. • The on screen display makes it easy to set up. • The power cord has a Powercon connector. My biggest complaint is with inaccuracies in the description of the instrument: • This light does NOT dim smoothly. There is NO linear dimming -- there is no dimming at all. There is a DOUSER; this cuts the light in a VERY noticeable crescent shape as it moves across the light beam. This is very annoying and makes the light unacceptable if dimming is needed. I see this as a MAJOR design mistake. There is no reason for lack of electronic dimming in the design. • The gobos do NOT rotate; although they can shake. • In order to get any gobo rotation, you must insert the prisms. The image the prisms create -- from the gobo pattern -- is the end result. I liked the small footprint and lightweight design. Not having to worry about a lamp burnout is a good feature too. But the lack of electronic dimming makes this light a poor choice for my needs.
