I recently bought a traditional thermometer after my baby granddaughter came down with a fever and I wasn’t willing to not have something in the house that could keep an eye on her, these are always the kind of thing that you don’t think of keeping in the house until you need one and haven’t got the time to go out or wait for one to arrive.I wasn’t even aware of how far thermometers had come on but this machine is pretty amazing. Taking your own or somebody else’s temperature with one touch of a button and it takes 1 second to give a reading.This thermometer arrives in moulded plastic within a cardboard box and it contains the machine, the 2 AA batteries required and an instruction booklet which gives information on different methods of temperature measurement and guides for a normal temperature according to age and measurement method.There are 3 buttons covered by a moveable plastic cover, button 1 will take a body temperature, button 2 says surface and will take the temperature of a baby bottle or a bath and the 3rd button says room, this enables you to take a room temperature reading. The display will confirm which button has been pressed and which measurement was taken.There is also a female voice which will announce the measurement and she can be turned off when you press the language button.This really is an all singing, all dancing thermometer and so simple to use.I received this product from the seller in return for a fair and honest review, these are my own thoughts and experiences with this thermometer and they have not been influenced in any way.
