This is a very useful and helpful book on cats and their welfare. It is a well presented book and contains lots of valuable information and is an excellent choice for novice cat owners.

Bought this as a present for a young boy who was eagerly awaiting the arrival of his first cat, having had cats myself for the last 40 years. I spled it before giving the gift and was highly impressed with the clear and straightforward way it covered all aspects of cat ownership and welfare, there even being a section on how to choose your cat. The recipient of the book has read it, refers to it at need and is enjoying his relationship with his cat.

If you don't know or have forgotten, this contains basic info about caring for your cat. What it likes & dislikes. A handy guide to illness & injuries and when its safe to deal with it yourself vs calling in a specialist such as vet.

Mine was second hand, but nearly new. Great book, easy to read and enjoyed it. Got a few tips I didn't know about. Would recommend and good for first time cat owners. I am not a first time cat owner, and I got a lot out of this book. Good pictures and easy to understand without being condescending.

We bought this for our daughter (8) to learn about her new kitten. She has really loved it, colourful pictures and lots of concise info has been great for her.

Great book. I've not read it as my 9yro stole it and read it and kept in their room. Nice and simple and easy to understand though, with nice pictures too

Good little book, a lot of detail for the price. Would have liked it to be a bit more extensive but not bad at all.

If this book is for kids it's pretty good with nice pictures and quality of paper is also good but for an adult this book is quite basic as it does not give any indepth knowledge about cats or other things related to them.Thus price i find according to content is bit expensive.

If you want to learn about cats, this is a good option to start. We recently adopted a kitten and have found this book to be very helpful.

It's not exactly what I was looking for. I wanted a book with more information on cat behaviour and their general characteristics, this one has devoted a lot of pages to cat illnesses.

Very easy to read and understand... really helps me to understand the cat world! would recommend to all cat owners
