Delivery was awesome. Still impressed after two years.
I was nervous about delivery since it weighs a ton crated up. The delivery guys brought it in and put exactly where I needed it. The crate would not easily fit through the front door so we opted for the sliding glass door and it was a breeze. Unboxing it was a little difficult by myself, but only took a few minutes. The boxing materials are a lot so be prepared for some way to store them until you can get rid of them. The delivery guys won't unbox it for you or take away those materials. I have a garden so the cardboard went right in there as weed prevention until they rot. Getting the bottom feet/leg section on seemed a bit mysterious from the directions provided. Fired up Youtube and saw how it was done. It is pretty easy once you see how it works. The install video I picked was slightly different than my set up- just had to unscrew a couple of plastic covers- and set it in and reseat the top plastic covers. The first time using it feels a little sketchy. Almost like it is going to trap you in the chair. Once you gain some experience with it, it is pretty nice. At least in my experience, don't overdo it the first day. It does a workout on your bod and you will feel it the next day if you do three sessions (20 min each) the first time out. Once out of the box, it is pretty easy to move around with one person. It \would not work for going up or down stairs but just moving it to position it differently is fairly easy. Very pleased with it so far and was worth it on sale. 2 years later review: Still very impressed and the chair is holding up well. I tend to use it 10 to 15 times a week, more some weeks and no issues. It took me some time to understand all the functions and now to get the Goldilocks settings I wanted. The sleep mode works really well. Pretty sure it paid for itself in massage fees and having it on demand is a big plus.

Love… Love… Well worth the money
I have had this chair for over a year. I don’t often write product reviews, but this one deserves one. Is well made very relaxing and easy to move around with the two wheels. I cannot say enough good things about this chair well worth the money.

(Updated Review) Great value full body massage chair -- but with complications and limitations
UPDATE (August, 2023): I've had this massage chair for a little over a year, so I figure it's time for an updated review. While I still believe this is not the absolute best massage chair out there (the really good ones still cost $5000+), it was an absolutely wonderful value for the $1799 I paid. Now that this chair is discounted well below that, I am able to recommend it even more. I cannot imagine life without this massage chair! While not perfect -- and it was a pain to setup -- this may be one of my very best purchases from Amazon. It has so enriched our lives. Working from home, I love having this chair nearby to calm me when I'm stressed. It's also been great for managing my wife's SI pain. Our house guests also love it -- makes them feel like they are in a spa. -- ORIGINAL REVIEW (May, 2022): This is one of the most expensive items I have ever purchased on Amazon, and probably the most difficult to review. It's a great chair, and costs thousands less than similar models. But there are some limitations in what it will do, and final assembly is only simple if you know what you are doing (the instructions don't help much at all). I also found that the user guide doesn't give enough detail on operation. With this massage chair you really have to figure out a lot on your own. PROS: * Costs less than half the price of other premium massage chairs. (And of course with Amazon Prime delivery is free.) * This chair does a good job of massaging: feet, buttocks, hips / lower back, and upper back / shoulders. * The alternating pressure on your forearms is surprisingly soothing. * Looks good, stylish * Good remote control (once you figure out how to use it) that fits conveniently in a side pocket. * The sides of the machine light up when in use. It has more than once prevented me from tripping in the dark. MEH: * Your first challenge is getting this monster in the front door. Amazon will deliver it to your doorstep, that's it. Even with the foot/leg massager not attached, the chair very heavy and bulky. You will need two strong people to get this up the stairs, and they will want (and deserve) money and/or food. * The only assembly you need to perform is to attach the leg/foot rest to the chair, and it's fairly simple -- once you figure it out. The assembly instructions provided are TERRIBLE, if not outright inaccurate. You are on your own. Be careful not to drop the tiny screws into cushions while you struggle with this, as you may never see them again. I had to replace one of the screws from my toolbox. * The instructions for use are a bit better than for the assembly, but not by much. The user guide gives you a brief introduction to what the buttons do, and to each massage mode, but you will have to figure out on your own what works best. I've been massaged too hard, too soft, and not in the right place, which I figured out what to do. After about a week I'm mostly sure that massage mode F4 with low intensity works best for me, but I'm still tweaking the neck/shoulder roller position setting. * You almost need three hands to get things started, as once you kick off the massage the pillows that grab your forearms get right to work -- and you have to be real fast to get your arms in the slots in time. I might have this issue less often once I get more adjusted to using the controls * And you really do need to learn the adjustments if you don't want this thing to hurt you. I love an intense foot massage, but I still need to turn down the intensity on this machine. And I still am learning how to have the rollers avoid grinding my hip bones. OTHER FEATURES: The machine includes spare fuses, which is a nice touch. (Wish the manufacturer was just as considerate with their instructions.) There are also bluetooth speakers I've never bothered to pair. OVERALL: I'm still glad I got this unholy beast of a chair, and I plan to keep it. I get a *mostly* good massage out of it, and it looks great in my office. In zero gravity mode I've even fallen asleep in it. But know that for $1799 you are NOT getting the $5000 deluxe massage chair you may see in a fancy store. While this chair is an excellent value and more than worth the money, it is by no means the best chair out there. I get about 90% enjoyment out of this purchase overall.

Fantastic Massage Chair with iRest Quality!
Bought iRest due to reviews and reputation for high quality. We are so happy and pleased with this chair! We love the multiple recline positions, the variety of massage modes and the heat capability! Would buy this chair again in a heartbeat! Shipping was easy, well packaged. . . just had to attach the leg/foot piece and its power and air wires. Buy this!

Everything I wanted and more.
We absolutely love this chair and we spend hours in it. I carry all of my stress in my shoulders and we both work labor intensive jobs. Sitting in this helps us both feel refreshed in the morning. I was a little scared to purchase based off of some of the reviews but I’m so glad I went through with it. To address some of the negative things I’ve read. Shipping: they called twice and left messages for me to get ahold of them before they dropped. I took to long to reply (my fault) and they walked the chair up two flights of steps to put it on my front porch. Instructions: honestly it was so easy, we didn’t need them. It took us maybe 5 minutes to assemble. I do suggest two people do it and the air line was a little tough but I’d rather it be too tight and hard to assemble than it being too lose and fall off later. Remote: yes a backlight would be nice but the display is big and has a lot of options for adjustments. Massage: you can adjust your height or shoulder position in 5’6 and he is 6’ we are both able to adjust to a perfect fit. You can adjust intensity by how far back you are lying. It does give a really intense massage if beyond zero but I require my knots to be worked out. You can always add a small towel in spots where it hits too hard like my hip area. The head rest is padded, you can keep it on to soften massage or take it off for more pressure. Foot massage is really intense with the airbag pressure but I just turn everything to low intensity and adjust my foot placement as needed. Leg adjustment. Honestly it doesn’t bother me that the spring is so tight that you have to push to keep the legs completely down. Without pushing, it kind of puts you in a really relaxed fetal position and it massages more of my calf. Bluetooth is hard to connect: it wasn’t. It was incredibly easy, there really wasn’t anything to do. Chair has to be plugged in and Bluetooth on. Hit search and pair. Massages your bootyhole: I don’t know, I mean it gets close but it’s for a very brief time and it’s not actually up in there. The heat is incredible and I find myself having to turn it off for it getting too hot but I’d rather have that then not enough heat. The sellers description is a little vague as well. It does spot massage which is what I really wanted. It has the automatic smart adjustment but you can manually adjust it too but only on manual massage which is fine.

Noisy, Painful, and a Nightmare to Return
I really wanted to love this massage chair, but unfortunately, it’s been nothing but a frustrating experience from start to finish. The chair is extremely noisy during use—so much so that it completely ruins any chance of relaxation. The massage itself is also way too harsh, even at the lowest settings. It’s either painfully intense or so weak that you can’t feel anything at all. There’s no comfortable middle ground. On top of that, the delivery process was a disaster. It was rescheduled three times, and we had to stay home on three separate days waiting for them to finally show up. That alone should have been a red flag. But the worst part? Trying to return it. It’s been an absolute nightmare. We initiated a return, and the pickup crew came only to tell us they couldn’t take it because it wasn’t disassembled and repackaged—which is nearly impossible to do without professional help. Keep in mind, this is a huge, heavy piece of equipment, and they won’t even step inside to assist with removal. You’re expected to dismantle and haul it to your front gate yourself. Unless you are 100% sure this chair is exactly what you want, I strongly advise against buying it. The hassle is simply not worth

Game Changer for Relaxation!
I bought this iRest massage chair in December 2024 and honestly, it’s been one of the best investments I’ve made for my health and comfort. From the moment it was set up, I could feel the difference in quality. The zero gravity feature is incredible it really takes pressure off your spine and gives a weightless feel that helps you fully relax. The chair covers everything back, neck, shoulders, arms, legs, and feet. The foot rollers and airbags feel like a professional massage. The Bluetooth speaker is a great bonus, and I love playing calming music while unwinding in the evenings. It also heats up just the right amount during winter, which makes it even more soothing. It looks premium and fits well in my living room. Definitely a must have if you deal with long workdays, muscle tightness, or just want to treat yourself. I use it almost daily and it’s helped reduce my back stiffness and improve sleep. Highly recommend!

3 years of use! Real insight.
I’ve been using this massage chair for over 2 years now. I’ll try to keep this short and to the point — here’s the good and the bad: PROS: - It’s pretty comfortable. I’ve tried better, but it gets the job done. The leg section is a bit awkward — you have to push it down manually to get it into position, which feels weird at first, but you get used to it. - We use it about once a week, two people taking turns, and it’s still working fine. - Some rollers have started making a bit of noise, probably due to wear or needing lubrication, but nothing major so far. - The preset programs are great, and the manual mode gives you a lot of flexibility (once you figure it out — it’s not very intuitive at first). - Aesthetically, it looks great. Whatever material they used (maybe faux leather?), it’s held up well after two years. CONS: - The built-in Bluetooth speaker is terrible. Honestly, they shouldn’t have even included it. It’s worse than a $5 speaker. Worst part? It’s always on — even when the chair is off. Anyone nearby could accidentally connect to it and blast music. There's no way to disable it unless you open the chair and disconnect the cables. I hate this feature. (I really really do, there is no people in this planet with so bad taste in sound, that would play anything on this terrible audio system) - The remote (wired), the buttons, doesn’t light up, which is a pain if you're using the chair in a dark room — which, let’s be honest, is when you’d want to use it. - Every button press beeps, loudly. You can’t turn it off. Change a few settings and suddenly you’ve got 10 loud beeps ruining your peaceful moment. - There’s a pocket for the remote, sure — but no space for anything else like your phone, wallet, or headphones. A second pocket or small tray would’ve made a big difference. - The side control panel (on the right armrest) is terribly placed. Every time you get in or out, you’re likely to press a button and accidentally turn the chair on. - The heat function is... something else. It’s only on the back, and it doesn't regulate well. It’ll get insanely hot — like, "third-degree burn" hot — then cool down a bit, and repeat. Pretty sure Satan himself set the thermostat.
