Metabo KS 216 M 240 V Laser Compound Mitre Saw

Originally I did order a cheaper one but the seller said it was damaged on transit, but I did review the comments that other customers had said about this Mitre Saw and took a chance as I have never heard of the Make of this one before. When I got it, it took me a while to understand the makeup and model number and safety figures on this saw. I am going to build a special stand for it with solid wood and have it bolted to the stand. I have tried it and it cuts well you do not have to just anything on the saw always making sure you do not have long sleeves, make sure you have a good safe area to work when cutting wood. Always make sure you have the proper fire extinguishers in your workshop/shed/garage for both wood and electricity as accidents do happen when you least expect. Everything else is ok and working properly yes I would recommend this saw to any DIYer, or apprentice doing joinery, carpenter etc. Great piece of kit. I bought this Mitre Saw and now just starting to buy a new blade for it. I have had it since 20 May 2021. I can honestly say that this was a good buy for me. I have used it on all wood work projects over the years and never once broke down on me. I have just notice I need a new blade now as the teeth on the original blade is badly worn down. If your looking for a good Mitre Saw that is little bit expensive, but not too expensive I would chose this Metabo Mitre Saw because I Built a mount top for it to sit on with wheels so it is easier to move around my workshop, and a lot easier to cut wood. It also safe your back bending over again and again. This is just an update on a good positive buy for me. 23 June 2025 also my sister is paying for the new blade as it is my birthday and my Metabo Mitre Saw is still going and still in good working condition I love working with it great piece of kit good and good buy.

Didnt want a cross cut saw searched for ages to find a decent mitre saw and this little gem popped up, very sturdy well made piece of equipment has an led light and a laser, saw is easy to set up blade cuts very well only negative is the clamp is a bit feeble but I can live with that.

I really like this mitre saw. Perfect for smaller jobs like second fix carpentry.

Didn't last long this, blade guard would keep coming down in the middle of cuts, i taped it open for a while until something else broke then i took it to the tip. Glad i did before i lost a digit. The blade was also welded into it and i could not change it for a finer toothed blade. Certainly would never recommend this product

Bought as a present for my husband so I can only go on his comments. Good value for money and does the job expected to do. He seems very happy with it although has not been able to use it as much as he would like at the moment.

the laser is just far away from streight , absolutely useless laser , the machine is small and is powerfull but is so noicy and not so stability as better brands 3 stars from me

An excellent replacement to an old worn out saw. Perfect for any smaller jobs around the house and fully recommended.

Die KS216M Lasercut ist eine kleine Kappsäge mit 216 mm Sägeblatt (OHNE Ziehfunktion). Die Beschreibung bei Amazon ist allerdings etwas irreführend, wie schon in anderen Rezensionen beschrieben. Es wäre schön, wenn Amazon hier nachbessern könnte! Die Säge macht einen sehr wertigen Eindruck. Sie macht präzise Schnitte, allerdings sollte man vorher die Neigung des Sägeblattes sowie die Winkeligkeit des Anschlages und die Ausrichtung des Lasers möglichst mit einem Präzisionswinkel kontrollieren und bei Bedarf nach justieren (das war bei meiner Säge nötig). Die Vorgehensweise ist in der Betriebsanleitung genau beschrieben und innerhalb von wenigen Minuten zu bewerkstelligen. Der Laser ist für das schnelle Arbeiten äußerst zweckmäßig (bisher - das sind bei mir ca. 2 Wochen - funktioniert er prima). Hoffentlich bleibt das so - sonst muss halt der Schalter gewechselt werden. Einen Plan mit allen Ersatzteilen findet man auf der Metabo-Service-Webseite. Ebenfalls wichtig: Das Schneidgut (Leisten o.ä.) genau am Anschlag anlegen und mindestens mit der Hand fixieren. Wenn die Kanthölzer bzw. Bretter keine gerade Kanten haben (z.B. weil sie verzogen sind), dann wird auch der Kappschnitt mit der Säge nicht präzise. Also unbedingt gerade Kanthölzer/Bretter im Baumarkt aussuchen. Lange Leisten sollte man neben dem Sägetisch mit Klötzen abstützen, damit sie möglichst genau horizontal liegen -sonst leidet die Winkeligkeit beim Sägen. Wenn sich Sägemehl entlang der Führung befindet, kann das ebenfalls zu ungenauen Schnitten führen. Außerdem sollte man die Säge gleichmäßig und OHNE hohen Kraftaufwand absenken. Bei schnellem Runterdrücken der Säge kann die Winkeligkeit des Schnittes leiden. Bei meiner Säge verändert sich dann die vertikale Neigung des Sägeblattes ein wenig - was man aber mit einem genauen Winkel gut sehen kann. Macht man mehrere Versuche (verschieden stark gedrückt) hintereinander mit dem gleichen Kantholz, erkennt man, was ich meine. Wenn man diese Tips (die gewiss nicht sehr neu sind) berücksichtigt, dann macht die Säge wirklich tolle Schnitte. Das Sägeblatt macht (für den Preis) kaum ausgefranzte Schnitte - wenn man die Säge nicht zu schnell absenkt (siehe oben). Außerdem habe ich eine kleine Vorrichtung mit einem Anschlag gebaut, die den Sägetisch seitlich verlängert und mit einer Schraubzwinge auf der Werkbank fixiert werden kann. Damit können jeweils gleich lange Abschnitte mit hoher Genauigkeit ruck-zuck abgelängt werden.

Super produit de metabo ou mes découpes sont au top avec la fabrication de mes tableaux américains et que j ai eut en promotion avec Amazon , un produit que je voulais acheté chez Leroy Merlin , mais pas en stock une de plus ou je me suis déplacer pour rien à 20 kilomètres du Havre , ce qui explique pourquoi maintenant j achète sur Amazon sans me poser de question ou j ai eut le produit le lendemain de ma commande

Una buena máquina, con una relación calidad/precio insuperable. Muy cómoda de transportar. Con potencia de sobra para cortar con precisión. Genial para quien la usa a diario y tiene que cargar con ella
