Fastest train he has! We would buy this again and again!
My 3 year old is obsessed with trans and when santa brought him this one it instantly became his favorite! The tunnel is so cool and the fat that its female-female isn’t a problem—we just stuck one of those little “dog bone” adapters on one of the ends to make it a female-make piece. We got those adapters with a really cool set of adapters that stick to duplo blocks allowing you to stick train tracks to bloc structures, running them on and through buildings and bridges and tunnels. It came with a few dog bone adapters and some snakey pieces that curve however much or little you need them to, to bridge those awkward gaps when you’re trying to attach tracks into a loop. This train is way faster than any of his others and he wants to play it every single day. The tunnel is so fun and he loves controlling the train with the remote especially with the different buttons for sounds. He likes to get his crossing gates out and press the crossing gate sound button that goes “ding ding ding ding ding” while he lowers the gate for the train to come through. For what you get, the price is very reasonable! And although it’s super fast, it stays on the tracks even through tight curves. It’s our favorite train and comes out every single day! Quality seems good but we’ve only had it a few weeks so far. I’m an engineer and my husband fixes gas meters for a living so we are both very technically inclined but it took us a minute to figure out how to turn this train on. Y Make sure you have batteries in the remote and slide the remote switch to “on” then HOLD DOWN the button on the train until the blue light turns on. To turn it off you hold down that button until the blue light turns off. Pressing it does nothing, you have to hold it down.

Great rechargeable train!
This Z Mayobbo electric train exceeded my expectations! It is faster and clings to the wooden track better than my high priced Brio engine. Yet not too fast - - but enough to generate interest. I bought the remote control version, and it works well, if you want it. The tunnel flashes lights and makes train sounds. The train car stays attached well to the engine. The fact that it recharges with an included USB cord is maybe the best feature. It stays running strong a long time! It rarely goes off track, which is always a bummer. A little painters tape under the track connections helps make for a smoother ride on my old tracks. I intend to order another one soon!

Absolute piece of junk.
This train is a complete disappointment. It’s very slow, the battery compartment cover doesn’t stay on, and the wheels broke off the first time my son played with it. I tried super-gluing one wheel back on, and then the other side fell off shortly after. Beyond poor quality, this is a safety concern. The wheels come off easily and create small loose pieces that could be a choking hazard for young children. A toy meant for kids should not fall apart immediately. I would have returned this immediately if I still had the box. Instead, I’m left with a cheaply made, unsafe toy that’s basically a useless hunk of junk. I would not recommend this or purchase it again.

a hit with the kids
my 2yo grandson loves this train. the only problem is that two of the wheels fall off and have to be re-attached fairly often. but for the price, its fine, and i would buy it again.

My grandson loves it!
My 2 year old grandson loves this battery operated train. It fits his wooden train tracks perfectly. It seems well built and sturdy. It also cost about half of what others that look just like it cost. The only problem is that he often leaves it running when he goes to play with something else and the battery runs down. It is very quiet, so if we don't see that the wheels are still running if it has fallen off the track, we have to change the batteries often. Just be sure to have extras on hand. You will also need a very small Phillips screw driver to remove the tiny screw on the top, front of the engine to replace the battery.

needs to frequently charge
My kids love it! The speed is great and it can carry up to 3-4 wooden train cars with no issues, even going uphill. The remote works well and easily controls when to stop or move forward/backward. The sound isn’t very loud, but it’s decent enough. I only gave 3 stars because the battery doesn’t last long. I charged it overnight with a USB Type-C cable, but it only ran for about 1–2 hours. I’ve had other battery-operated trains in the past that use alkaline batteries, and my kids could play with them all day without the battery draining so quickly. I don’t like that I have to keep recharging this one while my kids throw tantrums when their playtime ends too soon. So overall, I’d rather go with the battery-operated trains instead of this rechargeable one. That’s just my two cents.
