Fantastic Phone and Very versatile
We switched to an IP phone system at home and wanted a nice handset that wouldIntegrate with some of them their tech in the house. This item worked with my Doorbird doorbell and is a great addition. The sound quality is great and the video screen and ability to add apps is great. I setup was simple and easy and I’m very pleased with the purchase. Highly recommend.

Great phone for SIP lines.
This is a really good phone but be sure you know what you are doing when it comes to VOIP. The phone is superb for it's ability to handle 6 sip lines but don't be fooled about it's Skype integration! If you use Skype Connect and have purchased a Skype SIP subscription then this phone works a dream, however if you have a personal skype account then you will need to download the skype app to the phone which is a truly dreadful application, the screen orientation is wrong and you can't use the handset. I am running this phone linked to 3cx free hosted pbx server which allows many more features such as extensions, queues, digital receptionist, office hours etc.

I have 6 of these phones for about 3 years ...
I have 6 of these phones for about 3 years now and they start failing one by one. The touch screen starts trembling and executing commands by itself. The screens on the phones that start having this problem look as if they are disintegrating internally, small squares appear at parts of the screen internally and lines at the edges. I contacted grandstream support they had me reset to factory defaults a few times and then declared the phone defective and that's it. No repairing no replacing. Obviously the screens used are of very low quality and they do not last. Avoid.

Great service from seller, but Grandstream have a product that vastly under delivers.
Being an owner of the Grandstream GXV3140, I had high hopes for this upgraded phone. Ive only had it for a week, but its semi useless, as my main use is with Skype. It works fine with a standard SIP provider but the use of the Android Skype instead of a stock Skype client is a fail. Skype calls only work with the speaker phone and are disconnected if the handset is picked up. The Skype software is also designed for a mobile phone with portrait orientation, so to get it to even partially work, you need to adjust a setting in the phone that forces all apps to go into landscape, which then cuts off part of the app.Not decided what I'll do with this as its pretty much useless when my main number is a Skype out/in number.

What a great phone
What a great phone for the price. Has so many features. Takes a bit of setting up as you can customise just about anything but once its done what a nice device. There have been firmware upgrades which have fixed all the early issues. If you have a system that supports SIP tor a SIP account then you must get one. I use it with a Raspberry Pi as the PBX but it will work standalone

tried with sipgate but no joy. Skype is great on this and the firmware ...
Wow. Fabulous piece of equipment. Using it at home, with widgets on the home screen for the kids to call our mobiles. Using it with net-telco, tried with sipgate but no joy. Skype is great on this and the firmware updates keep coming. Rebtel struggles with the limited landscape screen space. We even use it to control our sonos.
