2008 ford expedition xlt
Bought a used car with power locks and no keyless remote. So annoying lol I read quite a few posts in various places on the internet warning me that aftermarket remotes wouldn’t work. But I’m no sucker. OK fine I might be a sucker at times but I am definitely a bigger cheapskate and there is no way on earth I am paying $50,80,100+ for replacement keys/fobs/remotes!Ordered this baby…4 button remote in black.Came in a baggy with a battery installed and a little keyring on a business card with a website url. I had already looked up how to program the remote but went to the site anyway to see what it said. Plugged in year make model …Straight forward and clear instructions popped up. Went to the car to try it out….Yay!!!Soooooo in reality it took less than 5 minutes to reach success. However, in the spirit of helpful reviews…I did have to do it a few times to get there and started to curse the ford gods for a moment there….Here is why! These are the instructions I had, verbatim:1. Turn ignition from Off to Run 8 times ending in Run ( Do not start the car, run position is just before the vehicle will start Off is turned all the way back when the key can be removed from the ignition ). Must be performed within 10 seconds. Locks will cycle signaling entering into programming mode. Keep foot off brake pedal.2. Press any button on the remote being programmed, locks cycle confirming programming. Repeat this step for any addition remotes.3. Turn key to off, locks will cycle to end programming mode.*****WHAT I WAS DOING WRONG 👉 was not clicking back and forth between off and on fast enough. I had even timed myself one of the times because I was thinking damn 10 seconds seems short!! Well it IS if you’re taking your sweet time turning the key back and forth lolTurn it back and forth QUICK quick. Like don’t wait for the lights to come on and the locks to lock and unlock. Go go go gooooooAnywho - highly recommend. Only reason I didn’t put 5 stars instead of 4 is because I can speak to the longevity of the product yet. Will try to remember to update if it stands the test of time :)

Works perfectly for less money
When the old key fob wore out, the dealer said they could get one for me and sync it to my vehicle for about $85.I decided to wait (still able to lock and unlock manually) On a whim, I thought, "what the heck, I'll try one from Amazon, it's pretty cheap and if it doesn't work, I'm not out very much money".It was so easy to program my car, it took about 5 minutes and works perfectly. I would recommend this option before letting the dealership get one for you.

Funciona sin problemas
Incluía una tarjeta con un acceso a un sitio web donde explicó como "ligar" el control al vehículo. En 5 minutos estaba todo listo.

Very easy to program and works like a charm!
I love this remote, it’s very easy to use, it’s very smooth and does a great job with making sure I can lock the car, it does a great job with the truck feature, the alarm feature works well also.Programming the remote is pretty easy, make sure to check your instructions and while every vehicle is different to program the remote it’s not difficult; again look for the instructions to guide you on it.Overall fantastic purchase, I’m very happy with the value I got from the remote. I have two.
