Any suggeations to get the band on? Its like the pin hole does not line up and the curved part that goes toward watch looks too long.

May be that it's a defect in the product. .I didn't have an issue with mine.

Is the band sweat proof?

Cannot answer a question about bands being sweat resistant, I returned them. Bands did not stay connected to the Galaxy 5 watch at all.

Are the bands small/medium or medium/large?

These bands fit for 5.1" -8.1" (130mm-205mm) wrist.You can adjust it according to your wrist

Can the end of band be cut without further damage?

There is no stitching and rubbery feeling. Yes I suppose
