Best bike seat on the market
Looked at many types of bike seats, but decided on this one due to the front positioning. Having once had a rear child seat on a hire bike, this was much better. My 3 year old daughter LOVES it and keeps asking to go out for a bike ride with daddy, which is keeping me fit.I'm 6 foot and the seat doesn't get in the way of my knees so I don't have to cycle bow legged. I have a 19" frame Specialized Hardrock pro mountain bike. Once set up (takes half an hour to an hour) takes one minute to attach and remove. It is quite heavy, but it's certainly robust and feels like it has been built to last. I have quite a deep top frame, which is also flat at the top, but the clamp fitted fine. The company was very helpful and looked into whether it would fit my bike before I purchased. The negatives of this product are that when cycling uphill, you can't lean forward as much as you would by yourself, which is followed by little one shouting "faster daddy!". Also, your child needs to be well behaved as their handlebars are attached to yours. Therefore when they get over-excited and decide to wiggle the handlebars as you're going down a hill, you have to tell them to stop so they don't cause you to crash.Advantages - the balance is great, unlike a rear child seat and getting them on and off is a doddle. They are securely fastened to the seat and the foam padded seat is quite comfortable for them. I have gone for several 10 miles bike rides. Being upfront, they can see what's going on, point at things, wave at people and also chat to you so that you both share the experience. I only wish I had bought this sooner. Also, the co-rider comes with spare bolts, which in this day and age is unheard of. Overall very happy with the product.

very good but over priced
I bought co rider after spending weeks on the internet to decide what was best as this was my first purchase of a child seat.I personally do not like back seats much so went for a front mount seat.I wanted a light weight so thought about tyke totter, however that was without safety belt and seat looked flat and uncomfortable. Some other looked bit ugly, odd.I found this one, I was worried about its weight but it does not feel.Fitting was straight forward, simple and easy, you better watch co rider short video on you tube.I would have hated biking with open legs, the design is so perfect that your knees do not touch it.The seat itself is made of nice foam material so child sits on it comfortably.Feet are secure in the foot rest.good safe belt.On a sharp turn the back of my wheel does touch with footrest, I sent an email to customer service but had no reply to advice, I think nothing could be done about it. It's not a big issue as you do not take sharp turn much.I love riding with my kids, I have two boys age 3 1/2 and 2 1/2, they liked it so much they fight over who should go first.I did not see anybody with this seat so when we go out everyone looks at us.I would have liked it in black and white colour but company informed me they currently make only black one. Before purchase I sent an email to company why the price was so different on Amazon UK and Amazon US?They told me its price war but the US seller has nothing to do with this company.I personally think this seat is over priced that's why not many customers reviews you see, had it been old half price many parent would have considered buying it...

brillient invention!
if you love going on bike rides with your little one then you need to get this! I was really sceptical about this at first but it has been an absolute god send. Because of this I have been able to bike the school with all three of my children. my eldest goes on his own bike but my little two go on the bike with me, my son, who is now 4 sits on this seat and my daughter goes on the back seat. we have been using this seat with him for almost a year ( he was just over 3 when we got it) and I think he will be able to use it for another couple of years. I wouldn't like to use it with a child any younger than 3 really. our daughter has just turned 2 and although she likes to sit on the seat I wouldn't take her our for a bike ride on it, in my opinion she is just too small. It's easy to fit bit that being said we did have a few stumbles with it as one of the screws was stuck and we had to drill it out. it's extremely east to get your child on and off the bike and the strap adjusts massively. The only issues we have come across is that the feet on the seat do effect your turning circle to some degree but its not a massive difference, you can still turn sharp corners but you can't turn you bike around in a small area, I tend to do 3 point turns and this works for me. The only other issue I have had is when my son decides he wants to help with the stirring! They cant do much in regards to turning the wheel to be honest with you.My son absolutely loves it and it been a massive help for me.When we go out as a family my husband rides with our little 2 and I carry the back pack this gives us extra room to be able to carry things and help our eldest if he get stuck. if we each had a child on the cack of our bikes we wouldn't have much room for back packs and neither of us would be able to put our bikes down and help our eldest son.
