Very good quality at a very good price.
Bought this to connect my new HP MiniPC (800 G3) - which has a DisplayPort output - to my 42" Panasonic Plasma TV's HDMI input. It worked straight off and sends an excellent image and - thankfully - also sound to the TV.(I do still have the issue of resizing the image to fit the 16:9 ratio perfectly, but that's got nothing to do with this cable). The cable looks to be very good quality and is well finished, and I think it's also the first HDMI plug that I've used that actually felt snug and secure in the TV's socket!

Good value, good quality, works with linux
Bought to connect a second monitor to my PC, running Linux Mint 18.1. (PC has VGA and Display Port out, monitors have a choice of VGA, DVI and HDMI in)Comes in a strong resealable bag (jhandy for occasional use; I wish all manufactures did this!). The connectors feel solid and the cable itself is slim and flexible. Both ends were a snug fit in my equipment; not too tight but firmly held. The 'Business end' seems to be the HDMI connector, judging by its size. This suited me, since the Display Port connector on my PC exits horizontally, whereas the HDMI connector in my monitor points vertically down. (If the circuit board had been integrated into the Display Port end of the cable, there would have been a bulky, unsupported connector hanging off the back of the PC).The cable was detected straightaway by Linux and the second monitor configured automatically. Not able to test with any other equipment.

Does a job without needing a adapter!
I purchased this cable for my PC as my graphics card has one hdmi port and four display ports and I wanted to plug two monitors up to my PC which both had hdmi ports on them and this cable worked without issue. It seems well made and the picture I get is just as it should be. This cable also carries audio from my PC to my monitor speakers too which is useful if I want to show a family member something which has audio or want to have the radio on my PC while I'm pottering around doing stuff! If you need a cable to put a hdmi display up to a display port then this cable should do the part!

Working cable as you'd expect.
DO NOT USE FOR HTC VIVE. DisplayPort to HDMI does not work for the Vive. Instead use DisplayPort to DisplayPort Mini (the unused square port). Any brand of DP to HDMI cable is incredibly hard to get working and is a very common problem on the forums whilst the DP Mini is perfect and instantly works as designed. With that out of the way the DP to HDMI works as you would expect. After DP to HDMI failed for Vive (user error) I went with the same company for the DP to DP Mini cable which says a lot for them. I can't comment on the transmission of sound as my setup simply isn't wired that way but for 1080p it works great. Its significantly cheaper than the cables in the commercial shops around, even with next day ultrafast super delivery. If you want a cable for DP to HDMI for 1080p it works and its the length it claims which is about the best you can say about any DP or HDMI cable. Signal quality as DP and HDMI use digital it will always be a perfect picture (making the £1000 solid silver cables as good as £3 cheap cables), its not especially hardened or weaker than you would anticipate and it fits in the socket well as you would expect for any cable above £3.Ultimately if you need a DP to HDMI cable for 1080p its certainly a cable I would get again, but if you needed to go outside of HDMI specifications and go above 1080p I would consider it for its price but not expect it to work though the majority of similar cables wouldn't work either. Bottom line, its better than its price suggests and it works, for anyone using 1080p that's all you need.

Perfect sound and picture quality on Windows 10
Combination of windows 10 and DVI cable meant that no matter what I tried, the TV would just never show up as speaker options on the windows 10 laptop.Bought this, plugged it in, and all worked perfectly. For anyone who had a windows 10 laptop with DP port and no HDMI, this fixes sound issues you might be having. At the time of purchase, this one offered the best value with some similar being 2 and 3 times more expensive. This fees like a very high quality item and worth every penny.

Plug-and-play. Works well.
First impressions were very good. The packaging and the cable itself are good quality. The braided fabric covering and solid connectors look like they will last well, only time will tell! Most importantly this cable just worked right away. It was plug and play with no need to change any settings on the laptop or monitor, I didn’t even need to read the enclosed instructions. It connected my MacBook (HDMI) to my ASUS monitor (DP) perfectly and the image quality seems great.

Works perfectly
The most important thing to note is that this cable only works with the signal from the DisplayPort to HDMI. I have a powerful GTX970 and every time I booted the PC the HDMI cable in the GPU had to be removed and refitted, extremely annoying, as no signal being received on the monitor. I had hoped that this was just a problem with the GPU's HDMI socket, so I ordered this 4K DisplayPort to HDMI cable. Next day delivery with Prime, smart packaging in a slim cardboard box as well. Works perfectly, and I am getting 2K on my 2K monitor, so very pleased indeed. DisplayPort is a better connection than HDMI as well.

Good cable and fast deliv
The cable appears to be good quality and was delivered very quickly.Unfortunately the cable didn't resolve an existing issue I have but has proven the cable is not the issue. I use the cable for playing media from a win10 laptop to TV. Picture quality is always good and constant but audio encounters regular (once a minute approx) dropouts. The cut in audio is only for a second or less. I have two different display ports and both behave the same. Sound drivers updated and reinstalled and latest firmware in use. Different media players tried and always the same result. If anyone knows a likely issue then please let me know. A lot of googling already done and quite a lot of similar incidents on MS forums for win10 machines but no fixes found yet
