Mason Jar Drink Lid, Wide Mouth, Red, Pack of 2

I got these lids for my wide mouth quart size mason jars, so that I can use the jars as drinking glasses (and travel with them). So far I’ve only used them with straws, which has worked great. It does not fit a very large straw, but works fine for a regular reusable straw.I have taken the straw out and closed the valve for traveling in the car, and haven’t had any major leaks or spill, which is a plus.The lids fit the wide mouth jars, but they don’t screw on as you’d normally expect- it’s more of a 3/4 turn, rather than turning it multiple times, and the lid needs to be on the jar “just so” in order to twist on. This hasn’t prevented me from using them, and I haven’t found it to be that big of a deal, it just took me a time or two to get used to it.

I often drink cold brew from my mason jar glasses and forget to finish before I hit the road. I would usually have to transfer my drink into a travel cup but I figured someone had to have made a travel lid for the jars, considering you can buy soap pumps and decorative lids. Bingo! These are great for the road, or while I'm working outside and don't want debris in my drink. The lids are pretty leak proof but you have to make sure they are on tight.

Love the option for a straw or just to drink out of. Not fully sealed though, so if it tops over liquid definitely will leak out.

These are very cute and work great as long as you put them on tight. I have had a drink spill out because sometimes twisting them on is harder than it should be.

Happy with my lid is much more money put thad the colors i want

The items are good enough (some leaking) but I order two black and got pink and blue. Pretty frustrated that I did not get the ones I ordered.

Overall this is a good product. I wasn't expecting anything leak-proof, all I wanted was a plastic lid for my wide-mouth pint jars that had an opening for a straw, and this was the only choice available as of this review.I don't really consider this a value at about $7 a lid, but as I said above, it was the only choice available at the time of this review, and compared to other sources for this same brand, it was the least expensive.What I am unhappy about is that one of the tabs on the bottom of the sliding cover for the opening for the straw broke off the first time I used it, and now the slider on that particular lid won't stay on.Would I buy these again? Yes, if this was the best value available. Do I recommend them? Again, yes, knowing that they aren't leakproof (hole for straw and the sliding tab over the hole doesn't snap tight or have a seal, it simply covers the straw hole) and are on the pricey side.I give them an overall 4. If they were less expensive and the tab on one lid hadn't broken with the first use, they would be a 5.

El producto es bueno, pero NO QUEDA en Mason Jars clásicos. Es solo para boca ancha. No vi esa aclaración antes.

Fit and work better than I expected. I will be buying more. They make a great lid with pouring spout for my 2 qt mason jars of cold brew coffee and fermented drinks.

They were very difficult to unscrew and I actually had to throw away the mason jar with the lid attached, as I couldn't get the lid to come off. I only had water in the jar, so it wasn't like it was something sticky that would make the lid harder to remove. I would not recommend, it was a complete waste of money for me
