This has a great taste nice and dry no moisture to turn foul looking forward to trying their other flavours.

I didn't believe this in one of the previous reviews but due to the preservation method the flavour of a freshly opened packet is a bit wierd. Do not let this put you off though, after letting it sit in a bowl for an hour or so it morphs into the wonderful flavour we all know and love. The quality is high, I've had several packets too date and not had any quibbles about that aspect at all. On the biltong scale I'd say this warrants as a thin to medium sliced and tending towards dry. Would definitely recommend to anyone who fancies biltong at a good price point.

I love my meaty treats, most notably salami snacks, beef jerky, and biltong. Having tried several makes of biltong over the course of a few years - normally either snap purchases at my local supermarket or chance finds at other grocery stores or service stations, or sometimes on Amazon after reading customer reviews. I recently decided to check reviews on product comparison sites, and found more than one which listed The Biltong Man Tasty Traditional Biltong as their firm favourite, so thought I would give it a try. Checking it out on Amazon, customer reviews were also very good. So, it must be said I was quite underwhelmed by my first taste on arrival. The biltong is notably tougher than either Ember or BEEFit, and is noticably saltier, to the point of it beginning to spoil the flavour of the meat. I immediately missed the comparative succulence of Ember Chilli Rub biltong (definitely my number one, by a fair margin) and the more well rounded flavour and moreishness of BEEFit traditional biltong. Whilst I would not say I had a terrible experience with The Biltong Man - and I will accept I have had the occasional one-off slightly drier or less flavoursome batch from my regular favourites over the years - I am unlikely to purchase it again. It was nicer than not having any, got nicer with beer - which pleasantly absorbed some of the saltiness - and I finished the bag. However, to sum up: Too dry. Too salty. Give me Ember Chilli Rub or BEEFit original over this all day.

I have bought this product for several years where I have had a need to increase the amount of iron in my diet post surgery. On the last occasion I lost half of my blood during surgery and with little trust in transfusion bloods I opted again to eat Biltong for it's high iron content as part of my recovery regime. GOOD excuse or what? This product is excellent quality and having eaten this product in several countries around the globe I can honestly say this is the best I have found. The flavour is not too strong (a problem found in many) and there is little to no dust or scraps in the bag just well cut flakes of lean gristle-less beef which is certainly dried to that perfect state, neither too dry or too wet. I recommend this brand with ease, but if you do use as part of a post surgery recovery regime, don't forget the vitamin C (you need both). My doctor was somewhat shocked at the speed my blood count returned to normal, although this is no surprise to me as your GP seldom advises that you take vit C with the iron supplements they prescribe. A big THANK YOU BILTONG MAN for what can only be described as an excellent product.

Always a good idea

Saporito, gustoso, ottima consistenza, fettine non troppo spesse, il che lo rende più semplice da masticare. Il grado di umidità è giusto, consistenza piacevole. Il pacco da 500 gr ha un'ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Spuntino ideale da portare in ufficio ma anche da portare in palestra o quando si fa sport in esterna. Consiglio di preparare monoporzioni e mangiare esclusivamente quelle lasciando il pacco ben chiuso a casa, perché il rischio di eccedere con la quota di proteine e sale, qui è molto alto: una volta iniziato a mangiarlo non ci si fermerebbe più

Exactement le même gout que le BILTONG traditionnel que j ai mangé pendant des années en Afrique du sud ! Vraiment bon ! je l'ai servis a un apéro et tout le monde l'a appréciés . Il est arrivé sous vide , impeccable et sachez que ce genre de viande ne craint pas vraiment le chaud et peu être donc conservé a l'extérieur du frigidaire. Je sais que acheter de la viande comme ça sur le net n'est pas rassurant , et je suis le premier a le penser , mais franchement , cela faisait tellement longtemps que je n'en avais pas mangé que je me suis laissé tenter et je n'ai pas été déçu !

El que busque algo similar a la cecina, tendrá que buscar en otro sitio, pero es que este tipo de carne no se prepara como la cecina. Muy rica de sabor, cortada en trozos finos y pequeños. Muy buena relación calidad precio.

Si te gusta la cecina seguro que te gusta. Tiene un toque a especias ligeramente picante muy sabroso. Ademas se conserva muy bien. Ideal para camping o senderismo

Ho acquistato la carne Biltong con poche aspettative ma al primo assaggio mi sono dovuto ricredere. Il sapore e la consistenza mi hanno riportato a molti anni fa quando acquistavo grandi pezzi di Biltong e la assaporavo con il mio amico di Johannesburg. Ottimo acquisto per chi ama questo prodotto, sicuramente lo acquisterò nuovamente.
