An important title
Had the best time reading this wonderful book!! A must must read for all the kids.Diversity, a book for kids aged 6 and up by Jennifer Moore Mallinos has been beautifully illustrated by Gustavo Mazali. What is diversity? What is it, in its true sense? What is the scope of diversity? Is understanding diversity in terms of race, colour, sexual orientation enough? It would be incorrect to say that. That's where this book comes in the picture.Offering an insight into the multifaceted approach to diversity via sweet short writeups and quite innocent illustrations, Diversity opens up a world of variety. Be it in terms of customs or abilities, talents or clothing, linguistic or family then, Diversity celebrates diversity of all sorts. Along with throwing light on the same, it also teaches us why the lack of diversity would be so dull and mundane. All in all, it's a sweet yet important book.

A must have book!
This book covers a wide range of topics on diversity and shows how each and every human is different based on their culture, language, race etc. with Topics ranging from skin, hair, families, gender, eating habits, body language and more, kids get to know how diverse the world they live in is and learn to appreciate the differences.I personally loved the topic “two moms/dads” being mentioned in a kid’s book, as it is really important to normalise all type of families and appreciate a person for who they are and be kind to everyone. This book has plenty for children to know and talk about and inculcates the message of being united despite the differences. Plz go for it!

Celebrate your differences and similarities!
When kids open their lives to DIVERSITY they learn to celebrate the similarities and differences that makes us all special!A generous and joyous picture book that celebrates diversity and all the ways that people can be different.I love how it also has an underlined message about some important topics like same sex couples, disability, separation, religion, beliefs, gender etc and that is exactly what the world needs today.Exposing children's malleable minds to tolerance and open mindedness is what will make our tomorrow peaceful and build a more inclusive world for all.I feel children are more accepting of differences than adults so somewhere this book may help them share the importance of diversity in the world around them. There is a simple question at the end of every double-page spread which not only gives a personal touch but also gives kids plenty to ponder about and absorb what they read.We all want to celebrate diversity and every child deserves to see themselves in a book, this is the point the book is trying to make. Ingeniously designed so a youngster could take one page at a time and start celebrating differences with everyone around them!A special mention to the colourful and diverse illustrations featuring people of all ages!
